An Update!

Hi gals.  Many of you have emailed me to post an update.  Sorry, I have been MIA.  We went to Disney and it was so nice to be able to wear something "normal".  Here are a couple picture of me in some "new clothes".

Maintaining has been hard sometimes, but for the most part we have had two splurge days and then the rest of the week is back to counting calories.  I won't lie, some days are hard, but I've thrown out all my fluffy clothes, so I can't gain the weight back.  LOL

Okay, I promise I will update more later.  :)

Sweet 135!

I can't believe it.  Let me start by saying the cookies called my name yesterday and I ate a couple. Yes two.  Well, I think it had been so long since I had really had anything like that, that it sent my body into overdrive.  My stomach started cramping and churning and lets just say I think the cookies helped me lose the last few pounds.  I actually awoke a few ounces over 135, so I just waited it out, had Kia nurse and weighed a little later and hello sweet 135.

I am getting ready to take a bath and decide what I will wear today.  Did I mention it is our 17 year anniversary? 

My gosh girls, I made it.  I wore the same outfit 5 months exactly.  December 4th-May4th.  WOW!

I can't thank you girls enough for all your words of encouragement.  This has been an AWESOME experience. 

I will of course be continuing to post and trying to find what my ideal lifestyle will be like to maintain.  We all know sometimes maintaning is the hardest.  So, I am off for now, I have some clothes to try on.  LOL

Day 6-9 day challenge

Day 6!

Well, I didn't post yesterday.  I went shopping for a few more Disney outfits.  ;)  Guess what?  I got into a ..........drum roll please~~~~~~~~~~size 4.  We even looked for a size 2 just to see if I could squeeze into one and couldn't find one.  I will be honest and say I am sure they must have ran BIG.  It was Ralph Lauren brand. 

I can really say I have honestly lost 60 pounds.  My weight this morning was 137 and my weight when I originally started this whole 'don't change my outfit diet' was 197 on December 4th.  Then I really wasn't serious and on Jan 14th I decided to get serious and at that time I weighed 195.  So really I have lost the 60 pounds, but have decided to stick with the outfit until 135 (may be 135.8, but at least in the 135's).  So that would mean 1.2 pounds left.

It was so much fun shopping.  My mom and dad stayed all night and guess what my mom made in my kitchen.

She had each of the boys help with a different kind.  OMG, did my kitchen smell good.  They sold them today at a yard sale, they sold a lot, but unfortunately many still can home.  Man they look good.  So far I have only had one.  And I did taste some dough last night, but just a little little bite.  Must have been okay, cause I awoke to a lose again.  :)

So we are down to the wire here girls.  YEAH!!!

Day4-9 day challenge

Day 4!

Well, nothing really to report, but I wanted to check in real quick.  The scales showed the same this morning. grrrr

I wrote out what I would eat this morning for the whole day and I am not straying from it.  Not that I usually make bad choices, I just thought I'd try something different.  Due to ball practice, I have to eat later tonight which I hate, but hopefully I can have supper at 6:45.  We have one starting at 4:00 and another one at 5:30.  Good thing is, I have it in the crock pot ready to go.  I guess I could eat at 3:30 and just have the rest of the family eat late, but then I am sure to be hungry going to bed.  'Just thinking out loud.'

Sorry for the late post, but it has been a busy day.  Had to take two kiddos to the doctor today and just been busy busy busy.  Well, I was only down .4 today.  I really think I will be wearing this outfit to give my speach at the banquet.  I'm okay with that (kind of), but it would be something that I would be able to dress up for.  I still have 6 days though.  I'm not giving up.  Heck, Original Big D shows that anything can happen http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/peerpressurewon/

Thinking sauerkrat sounds yummy for all weekend.  Any other clean out foods come to mind?

 

Desperate Times! Desperate Measures!

Call Me Crazy!

Okay, so I am already thinking of ways to help me get these pounds off before Tuesday (or even Tuesday morning).  I have planned a hair cut for Monday at 10:00 a.m.  I really have no idea how short I will go.  Since my hair is over half way down my back, and very thick, this could be an opportunity to lose a few ounces.  hmmmmm

 

The Baconator

Okay, I am busy, but I just had to blog about this.  I honestly read the other day  that the Baconator Sandwich from Wendys had 1650 calories.  Upon further investigation, I see it ONLY has 830 calories.  LOL

Since reading this and seeing the picture, I have found myself thinking about this sandwich often.  I have several questions.

-What could this thing taste like?

-Could I possibly eat it as a combo?

-How would one feel after eating one of these?

-What would be happening to the inside of my body after eating one of these?

-How much weight would I gain and how long would it take for me to take it back off?

-How many of these do they sale a day?

-After eating one, would I crave one from time to time?

Following are some comparisons I found on another website.  Comparisons equal to the baconator.  Just to further give you some info on this thing. 

Bad thing is, even after reading all this, I'd still like to try it.

Day 2-9 day challenge

Day 2!

Okay, so the scales stayed the same this morning.  I think maybe I got to excited.  I was in my closet yesterday trying on outfits that I just might wear to the banquet.  Maybe someone is telling me not to get to excited.  I did really good yesterday.  Although, I messed up and took two multi-vitamins instead of two calcium pills.  Felt kind of yucky until mid-afternoon, early evening.

Got another busy day today.  Have a fundraiser order to get out, 12 bags of clothes to price for a sale this weekend and the circus is in town this evening and we have tickets.  YEAH!!  So hopefully tomorrow I will see a lose.

 

My 9 day Challenge!

Day 1!

I've decided to make this a nine day challenge.  So, since I lost a little this morning, my challenge is to lose 3.8 pounds in 9 days.  I know this can be done.  I've seen it on The Biggest Loser.  Even though I have lost with great success so far, I am still hoping I don't come to a stand still this close.

I've also decided to go for 130.  I will of course change my outfit once I get these last 3.8 pounds off and weigh 135!  But I think I would like to vary between 130-135 rather than 135-140.  We'll just have to see once I reach my goal and see what will happen.  I am sure I will have to increase my calorie intake or I would continue to lose.

So girls, I will check back in tomorrow with hopefully a few more ounces down.  :)

 

Something good to eat!

Yummy Eatin!

Okay, so someone told me about this and I had to try it.  Simple, Simple, Simple!

Take boneless, skinless chicken breasts and place in crock pot and add a bottle of zesty italian dressing.  Let cook on low for 10-12 hours.  It will fall apart when you take it out.  I used the antibiotic free Tyson chicken.  My boys LOVED this as well.  We've had it the last two nights.

So guys, I'm hoping for a BIG weight lose this week.  Hoping to get these last few pounds off before 5-6.  Big goal-but I am ready.  :)  I'll try to check in daily.    Gonna try to catch up on all of you tomorrow.
