stone!

Well, for various reasons I wasn't able to get to a weigh-in for three weeks, andf I have to admit I kind-of fell off the wagon and ate - everything! but I kept trying to have good days (as well as my bad) and have managed to loose that last 1/2lb to make my stone! yay!
 
So I'm home now and really concentrating on it, am hoping to loose another 1/2 stone before christmas (which will give me my 10% goal, which would be nice!)
 
I don't have ajob at present, but I do have the ability to stay home and cook proper food (I've mademy own butternut squash soup for lunch, for example!)

nearly to the 1st stone

Well, while the weight-loss may be ging slowly in bristol -  it is at least going! I have managed to loose another 2.5 lbs, so am only 1/2 a pound off my first stone.  I'm not going to be able to make it next week, so I'm hoping that, in two weeks time, I'll make the first stone (and maybe a little more?)

The main problem is that I'm not excersising, as I'm sat on my bum all day, and just going back to the b&b at night (and trying not to eat!).  On the plus side - I'm getting a lot of knitting done!

Update - it's hard to diet away from home!

Well, I've not blogged in a bit, sorry 'bout that. I have been working away from home, so have had a few "challenges" in being able to control what I eat. But I'm pleased to report tht I've managed to loose 3lbs. this is a bit of an achievment! And, in my first NSV, I've dropped a dress size - I've bought a new dress for a black tie night on Fiday night - and I'm now a size 16 - fab!!! the dress is actually a little loose so I'm really pleased.... I will try and get a picture when I'm wearing it and post it up here....

my first silver "7"

I am sooo chuffed - despite eating out 3 times this week I have managed to loose another 2 1/2lbs - making a total of 8lbs and my first silver "7".  I'm really pleased, as this is only 3 wqeeks into the diet (4 visites to the temple of weight watchers!)
 
Sadly I'm being made redundant at the end of this week, and have picked up tempory work in Bristol for two weeks - ekk! living out of a B&B!! not going to be good for my waistline!  I really must try and find a meeting within walking distance of where I'll be staying, or I'll be totally buggered...

week 3 - hmm this seems to be working

Well, I've had a stinking cold for the last few days and have felt fat and lethargic, so didn't really feel up to doing any excersise, so I was a bit worried about my weigh-in.
But the gods of dieting have smiled down on me and I have (somehow!) managed to loose 3lbs this week, making a total of 5 1/2 lbs overall.
So, next week I want to loose 1 1/2 lbs to get my first half-stone.  I'm hoping that this is achievable! would be anice way to end my last weigh-in at thsi centre before leaving my job and going to a new meeting

Unsurprisingly, like most people I loath having full lenght photo's taken of me - so I was struggling to find a "before" photo... Luckily (!) my o/h uploaded some holiday photos onto facebook - oh joy - so I've been ale to locate one...

first weigh-in - week 1

Well, I had a fairly good week following WW, and went to weigh-in - I have lost 2 1/2 lbs, which to be honest I was slightly disappointed with as I had hoped for more!  My totally unreliable bathroom scales had put me at 15st 10 last wednesday morning, and 15st 4 or 5 this morning (kept flicking between the two).  So I had weighed 5 1/2 lbs too heavy last week, and 2 1/2 lbs heavy this week.  I know I shouldn't get stressed out by the bathroom scales, and maybe just concentrate on the WW ones - they are the ones that count, after all!!
 
ANyway, I'm trying to keep on track despite temptation - I have a total of 50lbs to loose, which seems a long way to go - however, I want to get my first 7lbs in the next couple of weeks, so that will be my first mini goal - lets take this one 1/2 stone at a time!
