Motavation

So yesterday I went to Chuck E Cheese with a friend I haven't seen in a while. Let me tell you she looked great! She had lost 46 pounds, I didn't even recognize her. It totally inspired me to get going. I walked 2 miles this morning and am going to walk on the treadmill tonight. I've been watching what I eat, so hopefully the scale will move soon. I wonder if there will ever be a day when I don't constently think about losing weight or being fat or food. Is it possible to live like that without it being there? I hope so!

One Day......

I think after we lose weight there will come a day when food doesn't consume our entire day.  We will wake up and do our exercises, naturally grab a healthy breakfast (we won't crave the bad stuff) and start our day. Healthy foods will be our normal and exercise will be second nature.

Welcome to EP!!

Just wanted to welcome you and hope you find a great deal of support here at EP.  I know I have the short time I've been here.  I too hope that the further along we get in this journey that the sometimes all consuming thoughts of our weight and/or food will become less and less a part of our lives until one day we just realize they aren't a part of who we are anymore :)
