I am not a morning person!
Ok I slacked off again today and didn't exercise this morning but I will tonight, I've decided to just keep doing it at night I just can't face all that sweating first thing in the morning.
Good news is I am sticking to my exercising just not first thing in the morning like I planned. I am down 5 pounds today which is pretty amazing considering it's only been 5 days I am sure it will slow down after this week I think I will stay off the scale til weigh in Sunday now and see what kind of surprise I get.
I bit the bullet and registered for two more classes yesterday so I am now taking a full course load at school which means sticking to plan is going to be difficult or easy because I wont have any time to cheat. I am super excited to get back into creativity mode drawing class yesterday was awesome :D
The weather here is horrible just pouring rain and we have mounds of snow and since it never snows here no one shovels their sidewalks so walking anywhere is dangerous. I have plans to us to school and it means I will have to walk a few final blocks to get there but I figure it will be good exercise and I love walking so it's ok. Well yesterday I had an early class so I got a ride in with DH on his way to work and as we drove down the road I would be walking we noticed the sidewalks are non existant under mounds and mounds of snow so hopefully it will keep raining and wash it all away until then I am not taking the bus DH will be driving me there.
I have been super good at sticking to the diet no cheating and I am not hungry I have started taking some vitamins on the advice of a blog reader :) Thanks! I hope it works to keep me healthy.
Oh and all of Adams test results came back normal but the doctor did say he is suffering from migraine headaches and gave us some advice on how to handle them. Poor kid is only 9 and he has migraines sheesh.

one little word....
A few of my creative friends have taken up the challenge to choose their one little word like Ali Edwards suggested on her blog.
I thought this was a good year for me to do the same and after much deliberation I decided my word for the year would be "Motivation". Last night I took an 8x10 panel and painted stamped and glittered it up with my word and hung it on my bedroom wall.
The idea being that I would open my eyes each morning and see it. My plan has been to start getting up at 6 and squeezing a workout in then but it didn't work out this morning. It's the kids first day back to school and we haven't gotten up before 10 am since Dec 22 :D I had a really hard time getting to sleep last night and last I remember it was 2 am when I looked at the clock so 6 am wasn't happening. I'll work out tonight and hopefully the early morning and late work out will help me fall asleep.
One of my big weaknesses has been wine, I like to have a glass or two of wine at night. Last night I decided I would skip my NS dessert and have a glass of wine but I got half way through and dumped it out. I keep thinking about the Biggest Loser challenge I am in and everything I want to cheat with and eat I ask myself to consider if it would be worth $800.
Now my kids do it to me too...hey is that wine an $800 glass of wine mommy? LOL it's a good incentive not to cheat.
Today is my first day home alone in awhile I am about to head out with a friend and do some shopping well window shopping really.

Finally getting my tests....
So way back in October I decided I was finally going to talk to the doctor about my sleep issues. I have occasional trouble with insomnia and I toss and turn in my sleep like I am doing an aerobic workout, I wake up all through the night and I snore alot. My husband has said he even has heard me stop breathing. I frequently wake up dizzy and out of breath...so I asked to be tested for sleep apnea today (a sunday!) they called it's been about 3 months since I first saw my doctor about it and I am just now getting the machine to bring home to do the test. Of course she said there are no appointments to discuss the results available right now but maybe in February....lets hope I don't stop breathing in my sleep for to long between now and then :D
So yesterday I MOTIVATED myself and got on my elliptical trainer and did a 20 minute preset program with all different levels of resistance etc. it was good I survived :D Then I waited an hour and did 20 minutes just at my own pace on a #2 resistance. I also did a little Dance, Dance Revolution and finally got a B on a dance not the D's I am used to.
Today I need to start preparing myself and my stuff to go back to school I start back on Tuesday with Drawing 2 first thing in the morning then we have to get Adam to the doctors to find out if his blood tests showed anything that could be wrong with him. Wednesday night I have photography class and Thursday I have Sculpture. The biggest struggle for me with school is packing a lunch, most of the NS meals need hot water or a microwave and the art building doesn't have one so I have to haul butt over to the cafeteria in another wing of the building but we only have a 15 minute break to eat. I did get some lunch bars but they taste like saw dust :D gross! I may have to suffer through. I can't wait to get back to the other diet.
Today I am going to attempt to not exercise, I tend to over do it when I get exercising and I end up sick. Today my back is killing me too so I should rest up.
It has been snowing like mad here again this is such a crazy winter for us we don't usually get much snow but this year has been nuts, it is not going to be fun walking Adam to school tomorrow.
Oh my other plan for tomorrow is getting up at 6 am and doing my elliptical then we'll see how it goes, I am so not a morning person.

New year new me :)
Well it's the second day since I joined the biggest loser challenge and somehow I am down three pounds since I weighed myself yesterday. I guess that would be all the unhealthy water weight from drinking on New Years.
My goal is to hit 165 only 26 pounds to go. Right now I am doing the Nutrisystem diet and it really works it's just too expensive for me. I cancelled my order but I probably have another month of food left. Once all the NS is gone I will go back to the Eat Clean diet which I did before and it was amazing I quit because it was very time consuming but I have decided my health is worth putting the time in.
On January 24th I am going to an 80's party and I hope to lose a bit of weight before then because I am wearing a very "sexy" dress LOL, it's zebra print!!
Before Christmas I was working out everyday, but I kept getting sick so I am going to try every other day for now and see how that goes, I may do the bowflex on the off days as it isn't as hard just for toning up :D
Anyway I am off to face the day I have a feeling I have a rude awakening coming when Christmas break is over and I have to actually get up in the morning :D
