I feel like eating everything. Seriously. I know it's nerves about this stupid appointment and I'm trying my hardest not to give in, but it's all I can do not to get up and go get a Kit Kat from the vending machine.

Why? What will eating junk food do except make me feel like crap about myself? Nothing. So why do I want to do it so badly? Sigh...

Here's what I've had to eat so far today:

  • Banana & English muffin with light cream cheese
  • Fruit & Nut granola bar (140 calories)
  • Salad (spinach, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, baby carrots, garbanzo beans, very small amount of balsamic dressing)

That's pretty good, right? So there's no sense in me undoing all the hard work of running and eating well just because I feel nervous about going to the doctor.

AAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHHH!

Why is nothing ever easy???

DON'T DO IT!

Step away from the Kit Kat.  It will NOT solve your problems.  You know this, I know this.  You're right it's not easy.  It's so much easier to give in to the temptation.  I did it all last week.  You will feel so much better about yourself if you don't do it.  Drink some water, go for a walk.  Call a friend.  Just don't eat!

I passed up my brownie today (yay!), so you can definitely fight that kit kat. Good luck at your appointment. I'm glad your fiance is going with you. Moral support is a good thing.
