My time spent with Shelley and Andrea was awesome and inspiring. They are so beautiful and have done such AMAZING jobs losing and MAINTAINING their weight loss (a piece of the equation I can't seem to get) that I decided I have to take some action. So I have updated my graph and tracker to reflect my current (and shockingly horrifying) weight.
I have joined Weight Watchers Online and will be trying that out to lose these 11.5 pounds. I will let you know what I think (like you had any doubt!) So far I like that I get credit for all the exercising I do. This way I can see the REAL credit and not just eat whatever the hell I want because I just ....ran a marathon, ran a half marathon, rode 40 miles, whatever.
I get 21 points a day and since I am new to this whole points thing, I am sure it will take some getting used to. I did a rough estimate of my points yesterday and it was 43. Yikes! And other than breakfast I wasn't even that bad. It shows me that I have NO idea what or how much I should be eating STILL.
Oh well, someday maybe I will actually learn to MAINTAIN a weight instead of constantly either be in the process of losing or gaining weight.
Oh, and Shelley is going to tell you she gained weight. She is full of shit (no offense, Shelley but you are). She is AMAZINGLY HOT! Now I have a crush on her and her husband.

Congrats on admitting your weight gain, now it's time to get it gone. You have an exciting trip coming up to Africa, let alone anything else!
WW does take a little getting used to with the points and everything, but it does work, well, for me, anyhow ... on the basic premise that when I cook more and eat out less, it's easier. Hidden fats seem to bump everything up majorly. I think in the US you include fibre in the calculations, whereas in the UK, it's only calories and sat fat.
I have no idea how I'm going to cope when on hols!!
Way to free yourself and update your graph. I was a little confused about that. You kept talking about how out of control. you were, but nothing was changing on your graph. I'm proud of you! For everything! For doing all your runs. For meeting new people. For admitting your true weight. Just for being YOU! Now, I gotta go check out the other blog.

I wish you well with your WW journey. WW will definately help you keep track of how much you eat. I know you are doing it online, but I will share they have these cool little books you can get too that have a zillion things to eat and the points are calculated already. They are really nice to keep handy, and super nice to have a copy in the car or in your purse.
Thanks a bunch for all of the information. You wanna know something weird? I lifted today and went upstairs to walk on the track. I did a little warm up, then Cardio Coach 5 kicked in. That's 30 second rests, with 1 minute sprints (supposedly! Sprinting translates to jogging for me) I did the whole thing (which is only 20 minutes, but this was AFTER lifting) Anyway....my feet didn't kill me, nor my knees, nor my lungs!!!!! I actually enjoyed it!!! WHOA!!! I also sprinted on the last 15 seconds of the 1 minute sprints. YAY!!!
I was going to share that I didn't go to my martial class on Thursday. Here's the logic. I have 2 free weeks. Sessions are T, TH, & S. I was going to go Thursday, but I KNEW I couldn't get to Saturday, (I had a facial at home after work. YAY!) so I waited till I could get one full week before I started. That is tomorrow. Now...if I miss tomorrow, I am just making excuses, and I need to get my chicken butt moving.
