Comments to this post:

Hey you!

Thanks for you comment.  And post that real weight.  Liberate yourself!  We love you no matter what!

Yeah

Actually, planning on writing it tonight when I should have a lil peace and quiet as hub n son are going to MMA class. But thx for checkin up on me and fussing me!

Thanks for the run down

You had a great race!  Congrats on a new PR.  Also happy you ran into your friend.  It's nice to have support with you just even better when it's in person.  I love your comments about your weight on EP - thanks for making me laugh.

Thanks for always taking pictures on your runs/races.  It's nice to see what you enjoyed.

Best regards!

Hey girl

Hope you are having the best time with Shelley and Andrea!!

Love the pictures from your race.  Now, was that this weekend too?  Holy smokes you are a mad woman with the running.  So glad you are enjoying yourself.  Love the pictures.

Also happy you set a new PR.  (now that does mean personal record right?)

The old man on the trail sounds so sweet.

As for the kid at the pool?!?  "Dude....shush up!!!"   What a goof ball.  Clueless!!

I love the comments your friend Willie leaves you.  I've dubbed him "wise willie", after reading what he posted on your pity party- table for 1 blog.  He is so right!!!   Loved that comment.  Have you sighted his twin again?

I can't imagine swimming that much.  You really are a machine!!

Where do you find those countdown clocks?  I have one on my dresser, but would love to have on on my desktop.

I should have posted with that blog the other day when I talked of getting married, buying a house and having a baby that I was also fighting constantly with my georgeous husband, being threatened weekly by said georgeous husband, filing for divorce, becoming a singe mom, losing my mind, etc...  Like you said though, no regrets with life.  It really does make us who we are today.  It's like all that crap gives you an inside understanding about other people as well.  From that situation, I can spot a woman lying in a New York minute when she's hiding domestic violence.  Has led to some pretty interesting opportunities to help others.

Well, I gotta git. I sat here in the office not realizing that the bathroom toilet was running over and there is water everywhere!!!!!!    Holy smokes it's flowing out in the hallway.  Dh just hollered up and said it's going through the kitchen ceiling!!!!    Gotta go call maintenance.  It's really nice in times like these that maintanence is there to call.    Also gotta put our dog up.  He and the maintenance man aren't the best of friends.

Gotta run!  Take care and I'll "talk" to ya soon.

oh yea

I need your help if you don't mind.  Since I don't want to make a total fool of myself on the "fun" duathlon.  How do you suggest I begin with getting ready to run?

I know it's only 2 miles, and that is probably like a pre-warm up for you, but oh how I hate to run.  I really honestly think I can walk faster than I can jog.  (I'm going to have to check on that this week.)  I am S-L-O-W.  I ran track in HS to stay small during my off season from cheerleading.  I had absolutely no interest in during more that spending time with my friends.   I lived so far out in the country that once I got home, I saw no one outside of my family members (who at the time drove me absolutely mad) Running track gave me what little social life I was permitted.

I was really bad at it too.  To save myself embarrasment at track meets, I would just forget my shoes in my locker back at the school about every other meet. (forget my shoes.  Hee Hee   )  Used to make the coach so mad.  He would be like.....

"Alicia, how in the world do you forget your shoes for a TRACK MEET?!?!"  (spit would be flying from his mouth as a look of sheer disgust would come across his face)  I was just look at him and go...

"oops...sorry...I'll try to do better next time."

I would then end up getting to do what I love best... cheering for my friends, and running water for them.

Sorry, there I go a ramblin' again.

I'm sharing all this to share that I gotta get past the link in brain that says, "you run like a turtle, there is no hope."

Do you suggest that C25k thing that I see others doing?  (is that the order the letters and numbers go in?  Maybe it's Ck25?  Hmm...  I actually think Tatums mom gave me a link to that awhile back.)  Did I see a pod cast to that somewhere?  (that would be cool)  I will google it here in a minute, but since you are the resident running SUPER STAR, I was wondering what your thoughts were?

Thanks in advance.
