Dusting off the Cobwebs
Hello? Anybody there? oh wow, it's all spooky and dark in here. *brushs away some cobwebs and tries to breathe shallowly so as not to inhale too much dust -or a random spider. UGH! I seem to be stuck in a dark tunnel. Way up ahead, I can see a ray of light, but it feels like I'm wading through quicksand because I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. Every step forward is a struggle and self-doubt is my constant companion.
I KNOW I need to make changes. I KNOW I can do it, because I've come this far. I KNOW this... but I just can't seem to move.
It's a struggle but I know I'll find my way again. I KNOW.

Welcome back stranger!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I had gained back 13 pounds and now I'm working at losing those 13 pounds and then I'll go beyond until I reach my goal. No stopping me.
As for weights, I'm going to do videos at home. I quit my membership to LA Fitness. I got tired of going to the gym. I hated the mirrors in the exercise classroom and the lighting. I saw every roll of fat with every lunge, squat, crunch, etc. I know I have it, but I don't want to be constantly reminded of it wherever I look!!! Plus, in the time it took me to get to the gym, wait for class to start, finish class, and get home, I could have already finished my exercise at home. It took up about 1.5 hours of my life with every trip to the gym to attend a class.
You can try going to www.collagevideo.com to help pick some good DVDs to try. you can watch 60-second segments of every video they sell. It's great. I have some Firm videos that alternate between cardio and weights, but I don't feel I get enough of the weights portion.
I actually need to add another weight video to my collection. I do like the Ripped but I want to change it up every week. Always change your workout and your body will benefit faster, I think. Never let it get used to the same exercise day in and day out!
You can do it if you want to do it. Just do it!

Keep Moving Forward
Thanks for the support. It looks like we are having the same feelings about this. We can make it though. We just need to keep moving forward.
