A couple updates
My step-dad is home & recovering from his heart attack. I heard from my brothers that he is having problems breathing & must be kept on an oxygen machine. He's had breathing problems for years & has slowly increased his dependency on the oxygen machine. I know this is hard for him because he's always been a very active man; but I thank God for every extra day we get. If they don't come here, I intend to travel there before the holidays. I want to see my dad.
Okay, I've had 2 good on-progress days. Go me! LOL My emotions have been up & down but my exercise & eating have been great. I feel better when I work out and avoid the junk, so I don't know why I have troubles staying on track. Just need to keep reminding myself of that.

Way to Go
Glad he is home and doing better and i hope you get to see your family soon. I know if makes it that much harder to be away. my mom just had surgery and i am 3,000 miles away and my dad works out of town except on the weeks and my sister is a slcaker...when i called her Sunday to check in she was doing laundry and she isn't supposed to be out of bed! That woman is stubborn. My sister lives 5 minutes away from her and actually left her dog with my mom over the weekend because she wanted to go out with her friends and the dog ended up throwing up 4 times during the night - everytime my mom had to get up and clean and take care of it. And my dad was diagnosed with cancer and operated on before i moved away. They got it all (they are pretty sure) and he is technically in remission now but it is still hard to be so far away from them when before now the farthest i lived was 5 miles away.
Glad you are back and track and doing well. Keep up the good work!

I'm terribly sorry about your father, I can only imagine what you must be going through. But I am very proud of you for not letting emotions (a problem of mine) derail your efforts. Just take things one step at a time.
