Thank-you
Thank-you for your prayers. The doctors were able to put the stint in & clear the blockage. He was feeling a little better when my mom called to check in. She's suppose to call me daily with updates; if not, I'll be calling her.
I really appreciate the support I receive here. Knowing people were praying for us, made it easier for me.
I'm off progress when it comes to my goals for the week, but I am not eating everything in sight, although I've really been tempted a few times. Not eating as well as I should, but no where near as bad as I have. I think a lot of us are just very happy with the small victories. It's another step in the right direction.
Thanks again and best wishes everybody!

Yay!
I am so glad to hear things went ok and he is feeling better. Keep us posted!
Your small victory is huge. Sometimes other things need to come before our diet and exercise. Friends and family should be a huge priority especially when they are in need. And a sick one puts a lot of stress on others. Hope you are doing ok and holding on.
Things will get better. Stay strong and don't forget where the path is so you can jump back on it soon!

Spectacular!
All victories, no matter how small, are STILL victories, and I congratulate you on yours. However, I think it is a HUGE victory that you took comfort in the love and support of your ep buddies instead of turning to your old crutch and eating everything in sight. And being off-plan is not horrible (I say this knowing how guilty I feel when I eat off-plan). You know what you need to do, and you have your sights set on getting back on your plan. That, my dear, is ANOTHER victory. Fighting temptation, that's YET ANOTHER victory. See? You have successfully come through the hardest part of a situation that would have normally sent you straight to the fridge, and you haven't totally binged out. Call it what you wish, but I think that's far more than a small victory. You should be very proud of yourself! I am very proud of you! Sending you hugs and kind thoughts. You and your family are in my prayers.
Don't forget to take care of yourself!

well wishes
I hope everything goes well.
As for food, it's okay to let go a little bit here and there. just don't go back to old habits, assuming you had bad habits like I do!!
let me ask you, what's the weather like there now? we're going to Disney on 10/6 and it shows scattered thunderstorms every day for the next 10 days ;( I really hope they're wrong. I don't want our vacation ruined.
