still hanging on by a thread
am still here, still hanging on -barely. scrapped my goals for this week, for the most part. Just couldn't get myself up the 1st couple of days & looking at the negative marks saying I failed that goal/that day, was just depressing. I'll break them out again Monday. In the meantime, I'm still doing what I can. I walked 4 miles yesterday & today, so that's good. I tried to watch my food intake, too. I'm feeling better, as in not sick, but still have the blahs. wow, it's so easy to fall off track & so danged hard to get up again. DH finished his project just a few minutes ago. That means he'll be ready to restart the 10k training & that will help with motivation. Yay!
thanks for the support & I promise I'm working on being positive. I'm not giving up. Chargail, you're my hero!

Chunk Them!!!
That's right. Chunk all of this weeks goals out the window! OK! Have a clean slate (paper) that had absolutely NO goals for 7 days. NOW, take that paper and fill in everything you did this week....GOT THAT DONE?? OK, now, look at that paper with all the POSITIVE things you did this week.......THERE IS NO NEGATIVE MARKS or FAILED DAYS!!!! Everything is positive!! Make a comment on that paper that says "I was sick this week and had a bad case of the blahs, but, look at how much I still accomplished" I PRAY THAT YOUR SPIRIT WILL BE LIFTED AND YOU'LL FLY WITH THE EAGLES.

Thank God it is a new day!! You can do this!!! I have fell down the past weekend also, but I am back up again...we can do this!!!

Fresh start
This of this as a another fresh start! You can do this. Forget the slip ups of the past and concentrate on your goals in the future. You can do this. Stay strong! You have been working hard for a good amount of time now. Once you get in that groove again pounds will melt off and you won't even remember this not so great week!
Smile. Take a step forward and embrace this change in yourself!
