Pretty good week.
So I started the Atkins Diet this past Monday. Boy I never realize how many foods I at that has carbs. Anyway, I've done really well all week. So Monday I weighed in at 324 and today I weighed in at 317. Now, now I know 7lbs is not that much but at least I see the scale finally moving. So far exercise is getting a little easier to make happen every other day. I tried getting up at 6am for a 30min workout but that didn't happen. I'm too much of a night owl and hate waking up early in the am. Yesterday I was able to do the elliptical for 18min burning 300 calories while watching Americas Best Dance Crew. Then I went downstairs to put a load of clothes in and started working on my abs and arms, while watching two 30min episodes of Golden Girls. So working out for 1hr and 18 mins is awesome to me.
So I'm really looking for some snack items for Atkins and there really isn't much. I have pork skins and beef jerky(yuck). I hate jello(makes me gag) so I guess I will head down to Wal-Mart to find the Atkins granola bars. I think that would do it for me. I hope I can keep the exercise and the low carb diet going to see more results. I would love to be in the 200's. Well it's going on 10 minutes to midnight. I guess it's time to go to bed. David has his first soccer game in the morning. There is nothing like a bunch of 4 year olds running after the ball and not really knowing what to do with it. Too funny!!! Well goodnight!
