Accountability
That's what I need. And I need to learn to be accountable to myself, before and above anyone else. So, I'm going to try to do that here by posting at least twice per week so that I can keep myself on track.
This morning I went to the gym again. I did a 30-minute low intensity, fat-burning walk on the treadmill, then went to the elliptical for higher intensity cardio. I made myself stay on it for 15 minutes. Hey, that's over twice as long as my time last Monday. I'm proud of myself.... the elliptical will not defeat me - I WILL conquer it!!

Yay Accountability!
I fessed up on my blog to messing up, and an online angel commented that I was being accountable and that's a good thing. Point being - way to go with your plan for using this blog! It really does help to speak to yourself honestly ... and to receive the support from this very supportive community. Also, I've worked up to 60 minutes of cardio on the elliptical! Like we've learned - moderate intensity does the job. I watch music videos on my iPod throughout - -make that iTouch (my Christmas present) - and find it fun and motivating. I use a Polar watch/monitor & love seeing how many calories I burn. The good kind of addicting. All the best!
