Before After

Movin' on down!

I've finally seen the scale move down for the first time since July!   I lost 2.4 lbs. this week. Yay!

I probably should have lost more, but I did have a little mess up on Tuesday night.   I was so hungry by the time I got home with the kids that when I got them supper, I couldn't hold back.   I couldn't even wait 4 minutes to heat up a JC meal!    Now that's sad.    lol

I did manage to get in sustained exercise 4 days this week.  We went biking on Saturday, walking on Sunday, and I went to the gym both on Monday and Friday.   At the gym, I tried an elliptical for the first time on Monday.  All I can say is - it KICKED MY BUTT!   My heart rate went out the roof and I could only stay on it for about 6 minutes.  Pitiful!!   Then, this morning, I started with the elliptical first instead of waiting until after my treadmill work.  I managed to stay on for....*drum roll, please* ......10 minutes!     I'm determined to work my way up to a respectable amount of time because the calorie expenditure was awesome!

My goal for this upcoming week is to drink more water and avoid a binge, so I'm going to go buy more veggies, sugar-free jello, and gum to help me get through any hunger spells.  Also, I'm going to try to get in some moderate exercise 4-5 days between now and next Friday.   Progress, not perfection.... I'm all about that.

Good work!

The ellipical is no joke.  I call that a success .  Keep it up!!

weekly goals

Sounds like you're on the right track -- making weekly goals is a good idea.  Hang in there.
