I want to...
Do you ever feel that you want to be one of the bloggers here posting weight and inches lost... but just know that it is not going to be you right now?
I want to be one of them. I want to be redcurvy who reached goal. I even want to be posting my weight and making a fresh start.
But guess what?
With my FMIL staying, wedding in 19 days, work, etc etc I KNOW it is not going to happen.
I am still basically chocolate free.
But I got on the scales today. Almost back to 88. That would be dinner and dessert at Mum's and Dad's the past two nights. That would be an exercise ban. That would possibly also be weighing after breakfast!
That would be most likely staying for now.
The plus side is that I am obviously ready to focus again. After the honeymoon.
Today I am grateful:
For my family
For my wonderful fiance
For my happiness
To be getting married in 19 days
For Ian having a groomsman as well as a best man (even though him deciding this with 3 weeks to go was a little stressful for me!!)

What's the difference?
Groomsman vs Best Man?
Glad it was able to be worked out so close to the wedding. Hang in there. Few more weeks to the wedding and then off to the honeymoon.

Thankful
I love the way you stop and put things into perspective by listing the things you are thankful for, especially is this really busy and stressing time in your life.
You are getting your priorities straight. You do need a lot of "me time" right now. Challenges and routines can come back later. Blessings for success, happiness. Chargail

Hey there
I, too, love your posts and your honesty. I think you are wise stepping back from things that take your focus off of this special time. There will be PLENTY of time after the wedding to focus on challenges and such.
Make these 19 days until the wedding memorable.

Practical approach
You've got so much going on right now, with the wedding being so soon. Just enjoy this time! Celebrate it. You can get back to focusing on weight loss or exercise or whatever later. This time is precious!

Weight
I think once the wedding is over, you will be back in full force. I have no doubts. Things are a little topsy turvy right now. I'm glad it's all working out, though!
