Back on track
I have once again not posted in a while. Working for the parks I stay on the go alot. I have been walking everyday. I have been putting in between 5.5 - miles. I have lost some weight not as much as I had hoped but it is some. I have also noticed that I am putting on more muscle. I have been working out to the routines at hyperstrike.com. That place has helped me alot in my work out. Anyway just thought I would update.

Let go
I let all my eating goals go. I have gained some of the weight back. I have gone through some tough times in the past week. I have not done much of any of the work outs or walking I have been doing.
But today I did get back into my walking and weight training.
Walked 2.5 miles
Biscep curl ..4 sets ..10 rep..25 pounds
Dumbell crunch 4 sets.. 10 reps .. 25 pounds
1 seving of whey protein shake for bref.
1 salad (2cups) light ranch dressing lunch

Fall in the air
I have lost a couple of more of the pounds I hate to admit I have.
This weekend at the park we had the holloween activities. I ran so much and thought I would have lost more than what I did. I did not eat any of the junk that we were serving. I guess I just need to step it up a notch on the walking and working out.

Me
I have not been posting as much as I think I should. This morning I have seen where there have been some people watching my post. Well I think I need to tell a little about me. And the reason why I want to lose some weight.
About 11 years ago I was told I had colon cancer. At the time I weighed in at 165 lbs. I went in to have an ostomy (to be more to the point an ileostomy). I came out of the hospital at 129 lbs. Withy out the surgery I would only have 4 months to live. Anyway I was told afterwards that it would be hard for me to gain weight. Wrong..not long before I started on here I was up to 235. I was also told that I could not work out and get back into the shape I use to be in. All in all everything I was told was wrong and I belived it all these years. I quit doing alot of the tings I use to do to stay in shape. But I did find out after getting my ostomy there were alot of things I could not do before that I could do after getting the osotomy.
Anyway I have made it a point to show others with an ostomy that you can get back into the shape you use to be in or get back into the shape you should be in. It is we just have to do alot of things diferent that others. Like watch the type of foods we eat.
Well I am 45 years old and getting back into the shape of what I use to be. I hope this will help others like me to move on and get a better life and get out there and enjoy it. (oh and as you can tell I am not a writer) Have a great day.

Not much
I haven't lost that much only one pound. I have been walking and working out. So I think some of the not weight loss might be due to muscle gain. I have lost some inches in the waist and gained some in the arms and chest. My eating has improved alot. I ma eating more of the stuff that is better for me and cutting back or out of the bad.

At a wall
It has been several day from my last post. I have not been doing good on the weight loss. I have slowed down on everything. I guess I am hitting a wall with everything going on in my life. I have not walked as much after totaling my bike. Still haven't got a new one or fixed the old one.
I guess I need to get my mind back in the game. I have lost the focus on what I am shooting for. Around here where I live there is not much support from others. So if you don't get it from yourself then you don't get it. The smoking has been hard to deal with. The weight loss stopping is not from the not smoking either. I do know that. It all comes down to getting my head back on again and to start watching what I eat.

wipe out
The other day I was riding my bike and decided to try a new trail that goes off into the woods. Well it was not a good idea. I hit a hole and then hit the wall of the gully about 30 feet below head on. After hitting the hole I bent the front rim and then the back rim. I then flipped me over the bike. Did not get hurt but it was a blast. Next time I will walk and map out the trail before taking it on.
I have now gotten down to 209 pounds. Yea..

Great walk and bike ride
Went for a bike ride around the lake and a walk. Rode 3 miles and walked 4 miles. Weight today 210 and body fat % 27. Haven't lost any weight. I think it may be because I am doing weight training. I am not giving up on the goal I have set for myself.

good day
Today has started off as a good day. I went and walk / joged around the lake at the park this morning. Have yet to smoke, Have yet to really want one. I am deep breathing alot to help fight off the urge.

A new day
Today I have stopped smoking. I know it will be a tought time for a week or so. I just need to keep myself busy. I have started my weight training. Next will be my cardo work out.
Went walking around the lake at the park. Did a little ove 2 1/2 miles. It was a great day for it. The weather was so nice.
