7927 Steps
Last week Saturday I cut my lawn and it took me 7927 steps to complete!! I also did some housework and went shopping. I kept my pedometer on till about 4 pm and had 12,823 at that point. I don't have to cut the grass this week because the weather has been mild with no rain. I just recently decided to pull my pedometer out of drawer just to see how active I really am. Boy oh boy this is a new awareness for me. Regular non-active daily steps are around 6200. I better take advantage of this nice weather and go for more walks.

You can do this if you put your mind to it, it's all about choices and sacrifices need to be made. That can be one of the hardest things knowing you have to give up pasta or stear clear of something that's very tempting to you but just remember what you felt at your highest weight. I know I wouldn't want to go back there myself.
I too have had a love affair with the scale just not how you did. I love to see the numbers drop but don't get too discouraged if they don't, it's just another reminder to watch what I eat and get more active. Of course there are times I fall off the wagon and a few pounds creep back on but I'll take a few vs the 40 some that I've lost in the last 2 years.
Keep up the hard work and you'll reach your goal in no time! :)
