Oops I did it again..............
Today I weighed at home (not my official weigh in day) and the scale said 139 lbs. I got excited and tested my discovery at work this morning using the hospital scale it read 143lbs. I believe I am still losing on this scale but I don't know why it differs by 4 lbs. my clothes are not 4lbs. (I don't guess) Anywho I know from previously blogging to stick to one scale for official weigh in. The only sad thing about weighing 139 (which tomorrow is my weigh in day) is that I will have to drop a weight watcher point which is now 19 (GCQMom) can you imagine! I am really going to be dipping in those 35 extra points.
I joined Endurer's challenge to lose 5 pounds by November 1st. Can't wait it appears that I may make it. We'll see.

How are you doing?
I met some neat people over the weekend of course I have my original blog friends but I have viewed and had new post to my blog. I wanted to say thank you. This activity really gives me a chance to focus on something else besides food

I did a great job Friday watching how much I ate throughout the day. I planned to eat light related to plans to attend a wedding last night. I knew in advance that I was getting Salmon as my dish and I didn't want to blow it. Ok the wedding, it was supposed to be a 6:45PM wedding outside. My family went to the location for the wedding to find out it was moved to another location related to the raining. (ok not sure why they didn't call the guest to alert them of wedding changes) anywho we get at the hotel and the bride who is supposed to be dressed and ready was out in front of the hotel with jeans on and smoking a cigarette. Needless to say the wedding was late :) Anywho the wedding was nice I got a chance to do some dancing and to see some family. But back to the reason I added this post. I left work with 6 points for dinner and 10 points in my bank. My meal was faboulous I couldn't eat it all (I only left a little behind) but I agree with kimby it feels like your stomach shrinks some when you are dieting. I gave the salmon 7 pts. and the rice around it (which I didn't eat much of) 1 point. I had green beans with it. So I spent a total of 8 pts. oh and 3 pts. for 2 crackers and a little spinach dip off my kids plate. Total: 11pts-6left for dinner-5 flex points total flex points left 5
. I know I may have charged too much but I rather shoot over than under. GQMom I wonder how many exercise pts. I earned for dancing !

Trying to stay focoused until 5:00...........
This week is a little more challenging. I am still watching what I am eating and drinking plenty of water but I started using my extra 35 points in my WW bank early this week on Monday I used 11.5 of my extra pts. And Tues. 5 more and Wednesday 5 more. Its one thing when you use the extra points to go out to eat or special occassions but to use them because you over ate throughout the day with just regular food doesn't make sense to me but oh well. My WW day starts on Monday-Sunday. I have a wedding to go to on Friday and I was trying to save up my extra points for the reception dinner where I will have Salmon. Salmon. I will try to eat less calories tomorrow. By lunchtime I will be at 15 points I am only allowed 20 for the day. For lunch I am having a chic fil a fried chicken sandwich. I got a coupon in the mail for a free sandwich and coke. so that is automatically 9 pts. I will try to stay busy through out the day and not think about eating. Endurer is not here today and I will not get my lunch time walk in today but maybe I will be able to do it this afternoon when I get off.

share your snacks
What does Binge eating do for you? Well, for me I enjoyed my daughter's birthday party and didn't worry about counting silly points. I did try to slow down a little after the 3 regular pepsi's (9 points wasted). We had a great time and I continued to drink my water and the scale was nice to me on Monday. I stayed the same weight.
How often do you Binge eat? Well, for me this was the first in 10 weeks. I have been very strict on my points and tried to stay focused. It worked until Points came against Lemon sheet cake and Chocolate sheet cake.
What snacks do you feel guilty eating? Well I love all snacks just about but some are very low in calories like Turkey Pepperoni you can 16 of them for 1 point. As you are eating them you feel guilty like you miscounted but no they are 1 point. What a great snack. Please share with me if you know of any 1-2 point snacks that are delicious!

Question
Guys,
I have been visiting several blogs and I have seen you all refer to "Tom" in a negative way when monitoring weight. Does anyone know how much extra weight is generated when a person is on their cycle? This may explain the difference in my scale at home and the scale at the local hospital where I work.

What size?
Hey guys,
I have a question for you. When I weighed 155 pounds I wore a size 14. I am currently 142lbs and a size 12 is baggy on me but a size 10 is a little tight. I know some stores carry size 13 but isn't that only in the jr. sections. I spoke to another lady who stated she used to be a size 16 but 14's are too little and 16's are too big and are not complimentary. I know it depends on the designer etc. but I didn't know if someone had a better grip on Ladies sizes.

To eat or not to eat.....that is the question.........
Hello my fellow bloggies,
Yesterday I experienced briefly what it must feel like to be Bulimic. Please DO NOT misunderstand what I am saying I am not Bulimic, but yesterday I had for breakfast 4 slices of turkey bacon (4pts.) and a diet pepsi. We had a surprise meeting for another supervisor and the manager brought her a cake from Nantucket the name of it was chocolate bliss. It was ridiculously delicious. But there wasn't a label on the box with the calorie break-dwn. I started freaking out inside because I wanted to find out how many points this delicious cake was but of course I never but the cake down. It was a thin slice but of course the cake had layers and sat tall. Long story short I didn't know what to do. Do I count it for 20 pts. but wonder if it is more or less do I just forget that I ate it? This is the part that I feel is the same thoughts that goes through a bulimic mind.....The guilt, the uncertainty, the desire to lose weight, the strong mind set to still eat the cake knowing that you will pay for it later, the struggle......the struggle I was making my self sick.. This is the part that separtes us. I eventually got a grip and realized that I still had 35 extra points in my bank so I just charged 15 pts. to my cake. And I stayed on track for the rest of the day. I had a salad for lunch with lite basalmic dressing (1pt) I believe at this point a bulimic would have purged the content. It is something how we are so different but so much a like. Take care of yourself when you are dieting and remember dieting shouldn't bring this much drama to your life. All this for what to be smaller. If you find yourself in my shoes please step back and take a deep breath and remember if you over ate for the day it is not the end of the world.

What meal made your day today?
Bloggies,
What meal did you have today that was low in calories and satisfying to your taste buds?
I had a salad with Romaine Lettuce (iceberg doesn't have alot of vitamin content) with Light Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing by Newman's own Light of course. And I tried bread sticks by Hot Pocket it was delicious. I chose the 5 cheese Bread Pizza it is only 3 WW points. It is great! I added the salad so I would be full. I also had to drink a nice cold diet pepsi with wild cherry. Total for lunch.......1 pt. for dressing, 3 pts. for the Bread stick from Hot Pocket. =4 pt. lunch. Also, Lunch is not complete without dessert, I had an icecream sandwich from WW for 2 pts. Total 6 pts for a complete lunch. Can't beat that.
I was asked on my last blog what type of vitamins do I take:
Gentle Iron dietary supplement 25mg (doesn't contain Beef or Pork products)
Nature Made Multivitamin for Her w/ calcium and Iron
Green Tea dietary supplement

Keeping things that I love to eat in my diet!
I love to eat.........................When I am bored, I eat......................This has been the hardest for me thus far. The things I find helpful to tie me over until the next meal are the following:
Regular Pepsi: It carries 3 pts. but if I be a good girl and save up my extra WW points I treat myself to one at dinner time.
Diet Pepsi: Keeping hope alive! What a wonderful drink! Due to the aspartame in dp and the talk of brain tumors with large consumptions I use water as a chaser to flush it out of my system. 2 dp a day 2 extra glasses of water a day.
100 cal popcorn
Sweet tarts (the fat round one's) 1 tart is 1 point
Chocolate (100 grand bars one half is 2 pts.) I like going to the grocery store and buying the six pack individually wrapped and snack on them when I have a chocolate craving. I also have a Huge Hershey's with almonds in my desk at work. I can have 4 blocks for 4 points so I nibble on it. I take 2 blocks from the 4 and only use 2 pts. How do you stop your self at 2 blocks? Great question, you duck tape the wrapper back. (out of site out of mind)
Gum (I love to pop my gum and I love buying gum to tie me over)
Favorite meals
Shrimp and Broc. with 1 cup of rice (4 pts. rice and 2 for SB)
Broc. in Garlic sauce with 1/2 cup of veg. fried rice (BG 3 pts. for a cup and veg. rice is 4 pts. for 1/2 cup.
