My husband and I are doing the HCG Diet.
If you don't know what it is, I'm not the one to explain it =) I'm not a teacher type at all. I can understand something completely, but telling someone else about it and I'm lost... The gist of it is you take a hormone supplement 10 minutes before a meal and have a very strict 500 calorie diet for 44 days. The rest...here's one of the many sites I've looked at www.simplyhcg.com
Anyway - we lost a combined 14lbs in the first 2 days. And that's the only thing keeping me going. I don't have hunger pains today but there is a candy bowl right in front of my computer at work. VERY NOT COOL! And my poor husband works in a grocery store =(.
We like food. Obviously, that's how we became overweight in the first place. We have finally reached a place in our lives that there is no reason to let ourselves continue this way. And we have the determination to stick to a new lifestyle. But this 500 calorie thing is killer! I know it's only for a few weeks to jump start the ultimate change... but GRRR! I want a Snickers! LOL
