Ughhh...

So my WI on Friday was horrible.  Yes, TOM is in town, but 220.5?! Thats the most I have ever seen on the scale.  I never thought I would get back to the teens of the 200's.. and now look where I am.  So since I've decided to stop watching what I eat (with the whole moving thing) I'm trying something else. I tried this program before, but I wasn't very strong.  Bascially, when you're hungry eat, eat what you want not what you think you should, eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful, and stop when you think you're full.  It's Paul McKenna's "I Can Make You Thin" plan.  No calorie counting, no portioning, no measuring.  Really simple, and really effective.  I'm finding that I'm really eating so much less.  The hardest part is not stuffing my face when I'm emotionally "hungry".  I'm going away for a week starting on the 16th, so my next WI will be in about 3 weeks.  We'll see if I've made any progress.  I've been craving pistachio ice cream!!!

Gaining

It sounds like you need another vice when you're emotional rather than eating. Maybe try a brisk walk when you get upset...or call a friend. And if you want ice cream, have some...and I mean SOME, not all...and I know how hard that is. I'm the person who used to be able to sit down with a new bag of doritos and eat THE WHOLE THING and still want more. I wish there was some way I could help you get through rough times and get you back on track, but we all know that has to come from within. I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

mmm pistachio ice cream. heck, i'll take any ice cream right now. i haven't had any for more than a week! ugh, damn this flu. anyways, good luck with the move. hope all goes well. x and good luck with the eating plan too!
