Update!

I am going to start off by saying that I finally reached my original Christmas goal! My goal was 25lbs by Christmas. This morning I was at 26lbs!!! Whoohoo. I am doing ok with the workouts! I have been doing the running group twice a week but thats about it. I need to step  it up if I am gonna lose 9lbs by Jan 1st. Eating wise has been really good. I did eat Arbys one day because I didnt bring my lunch. But I figured I can eat anything in moderation. As long as I dont eat Arbys everyday then I will be ok. 
Well off to get more water. Hope everyone has a good week, now get moving.  

Running group

So last night I started with a running group. It was a blast. I only did 2.2 miles last night but tomorrow night I am going to do 3.1, which is a 5k. My goal is to be able to do a 10k by 3/6/2010!
I was able to get all my water in yesterday and ate really well but the scale didnt move very much this morning. O'well, it will eventually. But at the pace I am losing I will not beable to meet my goal by Jan 1. My goal is to be at 216, that 16lbs to lose in one month. That 16lbs in addition to the 21lbs I have already lost, is 15% of my body weight gone!!!! I hope that I am able to reach my goal! Keep doing what you are doing, and you will keep getting what you are getting right!
Also Santa is bring me a BodyBugg for Christmas. I am so excited to get it and try it out!

What a week!

This Thanksgiving break really threw me for a loop. First off I must say that I did really well on Thanksgiving day. I was within my calorie range and even got on the treadmill. However, it was the days that followed that were bad. Friday was shopping day which really had me off my schedule. I had 2 pieces of Apple pie for breakfast, Wendys Grilled Chick sandwich for lunch with French Fries, and Half a burger and baked potato for dinner. Saturday I didnt eat enough calories and had Cracker Barrel for dinner. Then Sunday I didnt eat enough calories. None of those days did I get my water intake in. Needless to say, I was shocked when I had lost a pound at weighin. Thursday was the only day I got on the treadmill. I am vamping it up this week. Tonight is my first meet with the running group. I hope that goes well. I am trying to increase my protein and get all my water intake in! Hope everyone has a good day!!! Get moving!

Weekend Confessions

I was supposed to have a "perfect" weekend so that I could lose that 6lbs by Thanksgiving. Looks like I still have 4lbs to go before I hit that goal! Its going to be extremely difficult to lose 4lbs in 4 days. So I havent had a perfect day at all this weekend. Friday I had Fruity Cherrios for lunch, Saturday I ate a TINY piece of cake at a birthday party. Then that night I had McDonalds with my family. I did eat the grilled chicken sandwich, but I had fries too. Sunday wasnt to bad, but I only had 832cals. Oops. Friday I didnt exercise at all, Saturday I did 40mins on the treadmill, and Sunday I had a lazy day too. Ugh. I just couldnt get motivated this weekend. But on a brighter side from last Monday to this Monday I have lost 5lbs!!!! WhooHoo. I am going to step up my exercise the next 4days and eat great! I will keep everyone posted about my progress. Please feel free to leave a comment and motivate me a little bit to get these 4lbs off!!!!

Had a perfect day yesterday!

So yesterday I had a perfect day eating wise! I met my calorie count and I exceed the amount of protein I should eat and had very little carbs!! I also did a Bob Harpers Biggest Loser workout with weights. I wanted to lose 2lbs by today but I only lost 1lb, but thats ok. I will take it. Thats one more pound I will never see again. Today also marks 1 month exactly since I started this lifestyle change! I have to date lost 19lbs!!! It feels wonderful!!! My goal is to lose 6lbs by Thanksgiving, that will be 25lbs total and a 10% of my weight gone!!! After I reach that goal I want to lose 12lbs by 1/1/10. That will be 15% of my weight gone total!!! So right now I am focusing on losing 6lbs in one week. I know I can do it! I just have to focus on the prize. This also means NO cheating this weekend and exercising everyday, even if its just a short walk with my baby girl. Well until tomorrow, have a great day!~~and move alittle!

A fresh new day!

Yesterday my carbs was a little bit high thanks to Taco Bell. So I tried to increase my protein at snack and dinner  but I was still took in more carbs then protein. Ugh. So needless to say, I didnt lose anything but a couple ounces this morning. I did jump on the treadmill last night for a quick 20 minute walk. Thats all I had time for as my baby (12weeks old) needed my attention. Then I sat down to watch Biggest Loser and did some crunches. That Rudi guy really pisses me off, but WOW did Rebecca look great after going home. She definately had the last laugh. Anyways...I had a wonderful breakfast this morning which included, Egg Beaters, Turkey Sausage, Cheese in a Extreme Fiber tortilla! I plan on exercising at lunch. I hope I can do that, and I will also hop on the treadmill again tonight. I would like to do 25minutes tonight! Tomorrow is my 1 month anniversary for weightloss lol, and I am hoping to have a 20lb weightloss month. In order to achieve that I have to lose 2lbs by tomorrow. I HAVE to have a perfect day today! Wish me luck!

Its been almost a month!

I started getting my life back on October 19th 2009! I decided that I needed to change. I weighed 253lbs. That is the highest I have ever weighed non-pregnant. My cholestrol is high, triglicerides are high, and on top of that I have been told that I have a fatty liver. This is all very scary for me because I have 3 beauiful children that I want to be around along time to see them grow up and live long healthy lives. So on the 19th of October a coworker and myself started weekly weigh-ins. Every Monday morning we would weigh-in. This kept us motivated and more determined than ever. I started eating a low carb, high protein diet and I have started exercising. I either take a walk with my kids, get on the treadmill or pop in a workout DVD. I love Bob Harpers DVD from the Biggest Loser. Its been almost 1 month and I am down 18lbs!!! That just amazes me! I hope that I can keep up this momentum and lose another 15lbs next month! My goal is to be at 220lbs by January 1st, 2010. I will keep posting my success and I will also post when I have bad days and make bad decisions. This is going to be a long journey and I am sure I will have bad days but you just have to push through the bad and start fresh the next day!
