I did it :)

Went and brought a swimmig costume on friday n have been swimming today :)
i was shitting myself to go but it was fine once i got there and was in the water. Stayed there for close to an hour and swam 750 metres (30 laps of the 25m pool)
 
as soon as one foot got in the water i remembered hw much i love swimming, i hadnt been in nearly 3 years. This could definatly be what kicks off my weight loss. Im going to go 4 times a week for the next 2 weeks as i have no college, then when term time starts i'll be going atleast twice a week. Definitaly need to use the removable straps next time though haha, the force of the water + the fact ive got no boobs meant my top kept creeping down .... wasnt good lol

12th April

Went to the gym today with my friend, but it wasnt as productive as normal because we just had a laugh really, still did an acceptable amount though.
 
I think ive decided im going to start going swimming, i could always wrap a towel round me + take it off just before i get in the pool, once i get in i'll be ok. As soon as i have bought a costume i will start going + grit my teeth, if it makes me lose weight then its worth it :)
 
+ my friend is getting me a couple of free passes to the gym/pool because shes invloved in some sort of programme :)

Swimming

I reallyy want to go swimming, its the only exercise i actually enjoy but i cant even bring myself to buy the costume, it makes me cringe at the thought of seeing myself in it.
 
really need to find an exercise i will enjoy any suggestions?
 
took my little sister to soft play the other week it was really good + knackered me out because she isnt old enough to go in by herself and she cant climb the ledges by herself so i had to carry her, my legs were aching for about 2 days afterwards it was better than the gym!
 
still had no movement on the scales, will be going to the gym tomorrow though

Ive found the scales that my mum hid! :)  + weighed myself to find i have lost 2lbs :)
 
but even better ive just got myself a new gym buddy :)

Race for life! :)

ive been thinking about doing the race for life for a while now ( a womans race for the cancer research charity), so i asked a couple of friends if they would want to do it with me and they said yes :)
 
now i finally have something to work to! :) the website is really good it has exercise time tables so that you can lead yourself up to the event.
 
its a 5k (3.1 mile) race, you can walk/jog/run, i intend to be jogging :)
 
We have decided we are going to do it in fancy dress in hope of getting more sponsers :)  im going as a ladybird and my friends are going as iggle piggle (a cartoon charater), a fairy and the stig ............ im taking my dog too and even he isnt getting out of the fancy dress part! :)
 
im really looking forwards to it and it has already been motivating me to do exercise so that i am prepared for it :)

It's time to stop being lazy!

I can deal with tht diet part of loosing weight but I am just soooo lazy and struggle to motivate myself to do exercise.

So I have made an exercise routine so I can see exactly what I'm doing at what time in the week. This way it keeps me always on the go so I don't sit around and do nothing.

Today I had a free first lesson at college which usually means a lie in! But I got up early to do my exercise DVD.

I am all singing all dancing today :) dancing around my room like a loon to some music aswel :)

- if you take a food diary why don't you take pictures of everything you eat? That way you won't forget anything + you can see exactly what portion size you had
- exercising in the morning before breakfast is best for fat burning as you have used up all your carbohydrates (energy) over night :)

Not doing so well

Well still have no scales, dont know what i weigh but i can tell i havnt lost anything :(
 
i just have not motivation what so ever to do exercise!
ive made up a picture to try and motivate myself, going to make it my desktop wallpaper so i dont forget about it.
 
I still feel really rubbish though, just going to go to bed and hope i wake up in a better mood tomorrow and get some exercise done, i want to be slimmer for summer sooo bad!

Davina body buff dvd

Thought I would invest in a fitness DVD because my exercise hasn't been going very well, so I bought davinas body buff for £13, just done it and it's realllyyyyy good! It's really simple to follow to which is food because my corlordination is rubbish. I am sweating like a beast lol!

I only did one half an hour workout and I am knackered, I'm going to do it everyday :)

- it takes 20 minutes for your brain to register that you are full, so eat slow!!

Scales

My mum has decided to either get rid of or hide the scales!!
I was so annoyed, was going to weigh myself just before I was about to do some exercise but they where gone, which made me have no motivation to go exercise, but I still did half an hour on the exercise bike.

In reality it will proberly do me good because I weigh myself too much and if I havnt lost any weight or put some on it make me think what's the point on making the effort if I can't see any changes.

I can still weigh myself at my dads house and I usually go there every two weeks so it's all good :)

just a random fact before I go - a bottle of tomato sauce contains 16 table spoons of sugar!

Biology lesson

Well, just had a biology lesson + my teacher got onto the subject of dieting, she was saying how that when you dont eat enough fat in your diet your body worries so makes 4 times more of an enzyme (begins with an l, cant remember what it was called) that breaks down food, so the next time you eat something with even a small bit of fat it the enzymes go crazy and break 4 times more of it and store it as fat.
 
This explains alot!, and no wonder i am fat because my diet is not good at all for this!
 
normally i have 2 slices of toast or a bowl of cereal in the morning then go without anything all through college until 5pm when i have dinner!
 
Im gonna start bringing in something for lunch from tomorrow to try and stop my body going into 'starvation mode' all the time!
 
 
thinking about getting some of them shape up shoes for around the house or some ankle weighs maybe :/  hmmmm we shall see
