Traveling for Work
Last week I was sent to LA with a work counterpart of mine. I spent almost six days on my butt working on computers. The bad part was that work was paying for meals so guess what?? I ate!
Continental breakfast in hotel = nothing healthy
Then out to lunch and dinner everyday and I ate well. PFChangs, Chili's, McCormick and Schmick (upscale seafood), Macaroni Grill, and the like. Appetizers, drinks and dessert as well. NO self control.
Therefore on Saturday morning when I woke went on a no-carb diet. I plan to try it for 6 weeks only. WW lets me eat too much food and the Atkins style has worked before but does get hard to live with.
With WW I was obsessed with food, what was I going to eat, weighing and measuring it, what are my points etc.
With this I eat meat and veggies and down plenty of water. Bad time to try it at the holidays but what I want to give myself for Christmas is to break that 200lb mark. I really don't care about much else for Christmas, for myself anyway.
So here I go...ate at Fuddrucker's last night and just a burger with cheese and plenty of lettuce to wrap it in. And mayo! It was sooo good I didn't miss the bun.
