Hush....you guys hear that...its the sound of the crowd going wild!!!!
I am so excited about whats going on with me right now that I can hardly focus on typing this blog. My day began a little partly cloudy..just a typical Monday. I was anixous about my weigh in but most importantly my scores from my teacher test. ( I am trying to become certified). Well...as they day drew closer to the time the scores would be posted on the internet I kept checking and checking...so around 3:15 the scores were posted I eagerly put in my password and code and whata you know!!! I PASSED!!! I PASSED!!!If I could do a cartwheel. I would have done 2 cartwheels and ended it with triple double sommersalt!! (however you spell it) I was so excited. I have been wanting to teach since I moved to Atlanta and started subbing. I always had trouble with the math part. As a matter of fact after the state of Georgia turned to administring the GACE and not the Praxis I was excited because It was suppose to be easier..well...It took me 3 trys to pass but I passed. I kept at it...it was hard..it was plenty of nights I doubted myself and questioned myself weather teaching was even for me. Today, my answer was clear...yes this is for me...I am on my way!
Well....I was all pumped up when I made it home ...now if I could continue my sweet victory. I hurried in used the bathroom...then ran off to Weight Watchers...and what!! I couldn't belive it... a measly .2 lbs loss but since I was on my euphoric high...I couldn't even be mad at the scale...now next week maybe a little diffrent but nothing could taint how I was feeling right now.
Well...and then I got more good news.. I was wanting to start going to the gym at work before work but I have to take the shuttle to work and the shuttle doesn't start running until 6am so I was like what to do Well the security guard at work said that I can park at the parking deck and when I finish my car to the MLK parking lot where I am assigned to work and won't have to pay...so my plan is coming together so I am going to get my parking situation under control and hopefully next week start going to the gym in the morning...oh my that mean rise and shine 4 am...oh my!!! Go Girl! I am so happy for you, I knew you could do it. I commend those who teach. You really have to be patient and have the gift of teaching. I'm sure you are all of the above! Don't worry about the scale at least you did lose. We'll kick but next week(Pinky swear). Anyhow I was having a good day today too, don't really have any reasons though! Glad your plans all are starting to come together! Have a good one!
who really feel called to teach. It is a special gifting to be sure. Congratulations on passing your certification. I know you will make an excellent teacher. What grade/subject are you interested in? This is a huge accomplishment.

That is awesome! Congratulations on passing your teachers certification test! Third time's the charm, huh? Very cool. My daughter has always wanted to teach the first grade. I commend teachers everywhere; its the second hardest job in the world, next to motherhood!
