I'm back and I'm not gonna blow my golden opportunity.  SSSSOOOO much has gone on in my life ... entirely TOO MUCH DRAMA ... and so it is time to get focused for real and get this weight off and I refuse to blow my golden opportunity.  In the mail last week was a soliciation from a new health club to participate in a 36-week weight loss study.  Close tabs and strict accountability will be the guidelines so I will NOT be left on my own devices to not suceed, as has been the case in the past.  The program officially gets underway next Monday but I will participate in a 5K walk this Saturday.  This offer was timed divinely to coincide with my 49th birthday that just passed on May 27th and the fact that today is officially the last day of my 6-month membership at the personal fitness studio I was attending ... Fitway.  The new club will have me in a far more structured and accountability entailed plan that incorporates healthy eating and regular exercising.  Both my food and exercise logs have to be signed off on once a week by health club staff and as a  participant in the 36-week weight loss study, I have greatly reduced fees to pay.  I have 24-hour access to the facilities and I like the ambiance and the setup much better than at Fitway.  Also, because this new club - Anytime Fitness - is a chain, my key card gives me access to all of its 6,000 locations.  I am very pleased and more than ready to get started.
