my deit update

well this hasn't been going well at all lol!
 
I have had a bad flu for the last week, (i'm better now), and haven't been out the house much to do my normal day to day stuff so haven't been moving about as much as normal, plus i felt very sorry for myself so seemed eat more! lol i did have nice warm soups and things as well though
 
as i'm better now i started my excerise off again last night and went swimming with my dp whic was really good, i'm not a strong swimmer but i did enjoy myself in the pool, and we have decided to go once a week from now on.
 
also i am going to start doing the wii fit and get on the treatmill more
 
eating wise i have been eating more of my favourite foods like crisps/chips, chochlates, sweets (cola bottles!), and fast food, i know this has got to stop and i am going to go back to my 3 meals a day with healthy snacks and eat moe fruit.
 
right so i'll do all this and update you next week hopefully a couple of pounds lighter lol xxx

pcos fertilly update

hello everyone,
 
srry i havent been updating much i went on holiday mid cycle through my iui - which wasn't the best of tiiming bt we stayed about an hours drive away from the clinic so wasn't too bad and we was relaxed for the actual iui.
 
unfortanly the iui didn't work this time but everything worked as it was supposed to and i had a nice big follicle and my dp sperm was really good as i guess it's just one of those things
 
but we are moving forward and i am waiting for my period to start so i can take my next lot of clomid to make me ovulate, i have a scan on monday 10th  to see if they can see a period on it's way (i don't get regular periods) if there's not they will give me something to take somethng to make a bleed happen so i can start my clomid (i have to take it from days 3 - 6 period)
 
thats about it for now, i'll keep you updated xx

weigh day!

well ive weighed myself an i lost 1 1/2 pounds this week! - which is brilliant as im now 12st 8/12.
 
i have been eating healthy and walking more than usual with my dog (which he has enjoyed lol)
 
i am also doing my iui now - i have taken the clomid, and i am due to be scanned on tuesday to see if they can see any eggs ect
 
right thats about it have a good week xx

weigh day - i lost lb and a half!

how did your weigh in go?
 
well i think i did okay this week i have been below my 1500 cal a day limit which has been good, i do treat myself as well which i think is important for weight loss, my favourite dinner has to be stake ad chips i do a lovely pepper sauce wit it and put in lots of beansports and peas it is well yummy lol - i do have oven chips though instead of fried which of course is healthyer ! i have to have this meal once a week!
 
i have been having lots more fruit and trying to make my dinners less calories.
 
my bad points this week
 
i didn't excerisise as much as i should of i only did 30 mins on the wii fit doing step up
but i did walk my dog every other day (we take it in turns)
 
things to improve on this week
 
i have massive portions at dinner time! - i need to cut down my portion size
excersise more!
treat myself to things that arnt food related to get a balance
 
other news
well it's looking like it's going t be sunny for the next few months i hate feeling all fat and frumpy and not being able to ware what i want which would be shorts and summer dresses instead of beng all hot in jeans, i have got a demin skirt though and i plan on waring it with leggings and need to buy some linion trousers that should do for a while till ive lost more weight!

things are looking up

Yesturday was a lovely sunny day and started to put my weight gain into perspective
i have come such a long way after all.
 
me and my hubby went shopping at lakeside (grate big shopping centre), and we must of walked for about 3 or 4 hours round all the different shops which he actaully enjoyed as much as me and was brilliant because i was still excersising as well as shopping! - one thing i love doing now is shopping in primark
ive never been able to do that before as they never had my sizes so i am now able to pick up a bargin now
 
food side of things
 
had 2 weetabix for - breakfast
2 crackers with low cheese - snacks
2 oranges
stake, oven chips, and pepper sauce, and peas - dinner
2 frozen mooses - which are lovely they taste like icecream and are only 72 cals each
wosists (my downfall!)
 
so not to bad and the stake was a real treat i worked out my cals roughly and was about 1260 including drinks
 
today so far i have had a slim fast bar and a pack of wosists (i cant live without these crisps!, im lucky hat they only contain about 100 cals)
 
I also plan on doing some excerise today which will be walking my dog for 30 mins
and going on the wii fit to do some step ups

what a horrible week! - i'm 3lbs heavyier !

hello everyone,
hope your all having a nice weekend
 
I weighed myself today, and i have put on 3lbs!!! omg i nearly died! i thought the scales were broke so weighed myself on the wii fit as well - and they were right
 
what went wrong?
 
what i think went wrong is that i went to my sisters last week for a week and 1 day which even though i didn't eat lots of food, i was sitting around nt doing anything as my sister rarely goes out which ment i didn't get my regular excersise at all as i wasn't moving about.
 
I am so disheartend by putting on so much weight, it's making me feel a little depressed by it all, as i know i havent ate anything bad for my weight gain,
but i know i can't let myself get like this am i am going to tackle my problems head on, for the excersise i am going to by a bike from ebay (if it's cheap enough!), and bring down the treadmill from upstairs (i'm too scared to use it upstairs in case i make the ceiling fall in!) and use the wii fit!
the eating side of things i can control ive stil got my slimfast products so will use them for lunch and sometimes have weetabix for a change.
 
fertilly things and stupid comments
i have also started my fertilly treatment again - i have to take something to start a period, then take clomid 100mg for day 2 - 6 to make me ovulate, then i have to have a scan to see whats happening, yesturday was hard as me and my husband went to the mother in laws for dinner, and 2 of his borthers turned up with there wifes who happen to be pregnant, which of course is lovely for them but just akward for me as i guess it's supposed to be me next i even got a comment they said oh you need to catch up' i felt like say im working on it! but whats the point it just leads to more questions! so i just said yeah what ever, like it was nothing but of course the comment hurts deaply even though i know it wasn't ment in a horrible way.

Hello Everyone,
 
I had been going though a stage of 'not bothering' with my deit luckly i didn't put on
too much weight only about 5 pounds but now im back and want to get fit for summer.
 
This week i have been following the slimfast diet plan which seems to work well for me as the only thing i hate about being on a diet is being hungry, so have got the bars, shakes and smoothies which i have to say are really tasty, i lost 1 1/2 pound last week making my weight 12st 8 1/2 i have been having healthy dinners and i must start to do more excesise but my partner and i took our dog out for a long walk on sunday to the woods which was nice and healthy!
 
We have made a bit of progress towards our journy of trying to concieve we have fineally been refeered got a fertilly clinic which we have been to a few times now, the dr i see is very nice and lovely.
I should be starting iui soon - which has success rates of 20% each cycle and i will be doing 3 goes before moving onto ivf, so i will try and keep you informed of how its going, but it is a very slow proccess as i have found out myself over the years so if i dont mention it, it is because there's nothing to report.
 
Last year i was very depressed and hadn't worked for a while but now i have been volunteering and have started to feel a lot better about things and happyier, i am studying for a ecdl (pc course) which should hopefully get me back into work, but in the mean time i will continue with volunteering and helping out where i feel useful.

ive put on a few pounds nothing major but 3 or 4 pounds so im now 12st 9 1/2 which will hopefully go down this week! - as i am propery back on my diet again no messing around.
 
last night we had chicken noodle stir fry which i made and tasted lovely, i did the wii fit for 30 mins on the step work out.
 
 
on the fertilly side of things i eventully took my last lot of clomid (fertilly drug) which didnt work, so waiting for my af to start now, also i have been to the fertilly clinic and we are going to be starting iui soon! we were told that we would have a 20% chance of it working but it's better than nothing, we have decided to have 3 goes before moving onto ivf.
 
it is a stressful time but hopefully we will get there in the end

for those people who was following our trying for a baby
 
we both decided to take a break from clomid (fertilly drug), over xmas, which has been brilliant for us, as ttc when you can't is very stressful, so it's been brilliant having not to think about treatments ect for a bit and just be us as a couple for a bit.
 
we have been refered for iui now - so we are waiting for appiontments and things for that, but in the meantime we are not thinking about it and taking a break, i do have 1 more lot of clomid to take but the stress of it doesnt seem worth it at this point - i had 6 rounds in total anyway so for me i think it would of worked if it was going to by now esp as my ovulation score was quite high on some of the results.
 
so iui is next let hope it works ! xx
 
 
 

my diet updates

just some quick updates:

christmas was okay food wise - i was so scared of putting on weight i lost 1/2 pound! lol i just ate when i had too i.e just meal times, no cakes ect which was kinda boring but i put on a stone last xmas!  - it felt good to be in control of my weight this year.

ive lost a total of 2 stones since i started my diet last jan which i think is an achievement in it's self, i do want to lose more weight but i an a uk size 14 in trousers and my size 14 jeans don't fit - in fact they are so loose i had a go of fitting into a size 12 jeans, they fit but are still way too tight! - this time last year i was a size 16 - 18 and very ashamed of my size, i'd like to be a size 10 - 12 then id b happy, my target weight is 9st 6lb but we will see how it goes i dont wanna end up too skinny, like these clebs lol

these last few weeks have been tough as i start excerising using the wii fit then say friday i'll end up having a chinese! which i dont put weight on but dont lose any either,  i had maccy d's wiv big mac, fries, coke, and a ice cream sunday last saturday!! - which is so bad!, and i had chinese on the friday!, and this week i had another take out friday and on saturday i ate in tgi fridays!, and ive eaten 2 choch bars in the last week and i ate pie for dinner - i know i need to stop eating lol

i weighed myself on sunday and i now weigh in at 12st, 8 lbs and 1/4 - ive put on 1lbs and 1/4 since xmas

so starting tomorrow - back to my diet basics, which is breakfast, lunch dinner snacks are fruit and juice, do wii fit 3 times a week
