Mon - great sleep last night
Thank the Lord for His answered prayers - I slept well again last night.
Thus no "nibbling" all day long.
Ended up sampling tiny bites of cookie dough I made for a grieving friend last night though, so about 2 cookies total, added to my daily calories which meant 1650 calories total instead of the 1450 I was hoping to go to bed on!
Oh well.. 1650 beats 2000
Will attend MADE TO CRAVE free webinar tonight at 8pm tonight from made to crave.com. Would love to NOT give into sampling while cooking!
I was going to take one bite to make sure it "tasted ok". that led to at least a dozen tastes! about 200 calories, I figure...wow,,that first bite is deadly
so far, so good today - jogging a few minutes here, a few there...

Sun - 45 min walking; so far so good calories
Slept ok last night = slept great from 8 - midnight
ANOTHER PRAISE TO KING JESUS WHO IS HELPING ME AND ANSWERING MY PRAYERS AND PLEADINGS FOR HIS HELP.
I did not eat food at midnight to get back to sleep, like I usually do!
I drank Herbal sleeping tea instead, and it worked as well as the food.
Today, walked about 45 minutes, not jogging, but also did some weights.
I decided I need to post my calories the next day,,,,since right now I'm fine, that seems to make me " get lazy" and by bedtime, it's not fine!
So...I want to post the victory of staying within 1500 calories today, and will do that tomorrow.
PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.

SAT great day- l500 cal/ TONS walking
Slept great last night! So no ravishing hunger! Praise the Lord.
Sleep deprivation is a major factor with my nibbling and weight gain.
It turns on the "hunger hormone"
Went to fun outing all day with hubby, walked around the place "all day"
Ate healthy. took our own food
1500 calories - victory! Stayed within the amount to lose weight!!
SLEEPING WELL IS ONE OF THE MAIN THINGS I NEED TO DO TO NOT NIBBLE AND GAIN WEIGHT!!

friday 1850 calories, 7:30 pm
30 minutes jogging!!!
Today was major breakthrough - I ended up getting in 30 minutes jogging.
I was chatting with a personal trainer expert at a health food store, he said even a few minutes here, a few minutes there was ok...
Usually I just walk and never felt I could jog.
But today I did jog, a few minutes around the house, a few minutes outside, then in the afternoon on my mini trampoline!
I feel jazzed about not having to spend money to exercise. About ready to join a class. But hate to drive there, and pay etc.
I had the computer I tunes with radio stations of oldies, the TV with Christian shows of contemporary, fast musicians performing, plus tapes of fast inspiring music - even my old Praisercize tape and etc, from years ago..
SO-- I did not get bored as I jumped on trampoline to music about 15 minutes.
Praise the Lord! It seems a miracle I got my body moving fast finally!!
One day at a time.....

9:30 a.m., 1000 calories so far today
could not get to sleep last night, after very busy and productive wonderful day.
Around midnight ate about 300 calories - I "feel" like that helps me sleep better - warm milk, whole grain, a few nuts, vanilla honey warm milk...
did get SOME sleep, but feel groggy today from not enough sleep evidently
I counted those 300 calories as today's calories, instead of adding them to yesterday's 1600 total.
So, as usual with sleep deprivation, I've got the munchies!
And consumed so far today at 9:30 a.m.
2 cage free eggs, 1/2/ c ff pl yogurt, 2 T ff jelly, 1 orange, 1/4 piece whole grain bread homemade, wheat free
2 small homemade whole grain, wheat free waffles, 10 walnuts, 1/2 t olive oil I think can't remember for sure
maybe a few more things - total 1,000 calories including last night;s 300
jogged 3 minutes around the house and deck this morning.
will count each minute of jogging, walking etc
want/need to get in 30 minutes exercise today.
need to do a few minutes of dreaded yard work - laying down weed killing newspapers, then top with bags of mulch. mulch bags lying all over front yard, looks messy; can't wait to get them all nice and laid down. tedious dreaded job.
can do it in short spurts, like lately - did 6 bags that way! out of 56 total...
Actually, I think I will just be good to myself right now! I will watch something uplifiting on TV, or read, etc...for about an hour. will drop the "shoulds" and "oughts"
Did the main thing today - spent about 30 minutes studying my Bible. will pray some too for strength and help and guidance and remember His prommises.
He is strong, though I am weak.
I will boast about my weaknesses, for Christ's power shows up best in weak people - New Testament, Corinthians
zzzz-- time to rest, rest in the Lord

Thursday
productive joyful day
1300 calories, 6pm
Great day, though poor sleep last night.
Maybe taking 5,000 ester C this morning helped; trying to prevent catching hubby's cold.
did yard work; paper work; shopping, errands, met a friend, etc.
put red cabbaage and celery in c pot with sw. potatoe, yum yum for supper
added chopped fresh tomoatoe and a bit of avacado and walnuts, added lots of calories, but 1 T avacado and 50 calories nuts. gotta measure those things!
not hungry at all.
God help me please to not eat wrongly tonight. tteach me to crave You, not food!
To crave you the Creator, not food, the creation!

wed bedtime - 1750 cal; 20 min. exercise today
Mon nite before bed I had whey that contained theanine.
Theanine must have helped me sleep well so I'll try it again and probably will sleep well again.
Tuesday was such a joyful, alert, energetic, productive day.
I can't believe how crucial deep, sound abundant night time sleep is to well being!
I feel a million times better in every way with it compared to without it.
It's truly one of the most valuable things. May God grant us all good sleep tonight!
about l750 calories today, about 20 minutes exercise, walking, jogging, stretching, etc...

wed - lost 3 pounds!
Yesterday I weighed and I am 3 pounds less from a few days ago when I began extrapounds.com!
Slept so well Monday night that Tuesday was unusually hunger-free, clear sharp thinking, and productive day.
Very thankful!!
Sounds sleep, full of dreams I remembered, makes such a huge difference.
Today, so far, 1500 healthy, well balanced calories at 3:20 pm.

1730 calories, 7:30 pm
cleaned up kitchen and took small amounts of homemade bread and 2 t olive oil - 100 calories for oil. Bread was about 50 calories; and added a dollop of applesauce, 25 calories = 200 calories total approx.
More than I wanted to eat, but less than 1800
Read a health magazine article on how you should have enough healthy fats like nuts and olive oil, in order to lose weight.
Of course that pushed me over the edge to do what I wanted earlier - some oliv oil on that home ade bread.
good news i they were tiny servings. tiny servings satisy me. but still l730 calories.
i'm thankful it's not 2000.. and I am full... probably won't eat til breakfast tomorrow.
especially if I stay out of the kitchen. a little clean up remains there, but hopefully I will put away the perishable food then leave the rest to avoid temptation!

Have consumed 1550 calories of healthy, wholesome, balanced food. Do not have physical hunger.
This is withdrawal!!! big time!!
I can't believe the craving I have to nibble and munch. but I must not. I will not
It was fun to work on some little greeting cards - stamping, then coloring with colored pencils. Very simple creative outlet.
Physical fatigue turns on the hunger hormone and this physical fatigue makes it hard to not snack.
But I will choose to be very kind to myself and relax by reading. I look forward to 1 hr and 20 min ANTIQUE ROADSHOW on tv and hubby may watch it with me.
I will nap a bit also to relieve this fatigue the right way not the food way!
No exercise today, but I did it the past two days in a row, and tomorrow I can do it too! I will not beat myself up. God loves me and is not mad at me.
