Early Exercising
Couldnt sleep so got up early and did my exercises to make up for not doing them last night. Jumped onthe scales and it looks like i have lost a pound. Is that all...
Titaniastar has just made me think about Christmas after reading her blog.
A few weeks ago Lynton and me decided we would HAVE to tell the girls the truth about Santa - they will be going to High School next year.
As we explained to them - they sat with heads bowed, tears in their eyes, then cracked the biggest grins youve ever seen - they laughed and said they've known for at least the last 2 years but diddnt wantto upset us!
How ironic!
Anyway Christmas - my mum and dad come to our house, as do my sons and Daniels girlfriend, who grew up in care and dosent get on with her parents, and my grandaughter Brooke - so 10 of us . My Dad cooks theTurkey Christmas eve and brings it with him on Christmas morning and i do the rest.
We usually endup getting up about 5am with the kids, even my sons at age 20 still have a sack of pressies, and the lads andEmma and Brooke come over xmas eve bringing all their pressies too - to open Christmas morning. Then we have bacon butties for breakfast and then Christmas lunch about 3pm then dont bother with tea.
Exhausting, Chaotic. But i wouldnt have it any other way.
Christmas will probably be "smaller" this year - we havent got the money we have had in the past. We have shredded all our plastic in a bid to get our debt cleared, which is going well. So smaller scalethisyear- but with all the people i love most in the world.
