I am more determined now to stick with every thing, that I think was every before! Comments(1) 241856 Tuesday, October 31, 2006 22:01:14 back on track.... http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/223279/back-on-track well, things seem to be back on track!

my hubby has been on the afternoon shift for the past couple of weeks....and looks like he will be doing the afternoon shift for a little bit longer. so that has really screwed up my eating and sleeping patterns.

I am hoping to get things back on track and not trying to stay up until he gets home from work like I have been doing. But since he will be going to work at 4:30pm and getting out of work at 3:30am....so it will be pointless for me to try and stay awake until he gets home. So, from this day forward I am going to be taking a new stand and getting back on track to where I was before! Comments(0) 223279 Friday, December 8, 2006 22:06:23 I am feeling great!!! http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/214821/i-am-feeling-great We had a very busy weekend!!

Saturday we went to the campground that we met at. We walked for a good 4 hours, with periodic stops here and there. We went back up there on Sunday, and from the time we got there to the time we left, we only sat down a few times! We were there four almost 13 hours, and I would say that we walked for a good 11 1/2 or 12 of those hours! It felt great!

I pushed our double stroller with my two boys in it, while I carried my daughter in the snuggly! I could really feel it all in my legs and in my arms! I even stepped on the scale when we got home on Sunday and I had put on only 0.6 ounces! Then I just stepped on the scale after I got out of the shower and I am down to 238.4!!!!! I am really getting into this now, and if I keep going like I am, I will be down to my goal weight in no time! (but I am not going to do it so that I lose it all way to fast without letting my body get used to it) Comments(1) 214821 Saturday, December 9, 2006 00:04:01 yay!!! http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/212762/yay well, I did my measurements for on here!

boy am I glad I did them! There were some measurements that went up, but I am hoping that it is due to getting muscle instead of more fat. And then there were some that went down as well! So, I am happy about both types of measurements!

I also weighed in as well! I am now 1.2 pounds!! Comments(1) 212762 Thursday, December 7, 2006 22:09:00 ready to rumble!! http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/212318/ready-to-rumble I need to really stay motivated! I have a hard time with every thing on the weekend, so I try to stay busy so that I won't slip. But usually we end up going out on the weekends, and so that usually means eating out. I try my hardest to pick something healthy off the menu, but sometimes it just isn't always possible.
I am in a couple challenges on a couple other boards, and the next one that is about to kick off starts on September 2nd, and goes until October 28th! I am really excited about this one because a friend of ours is getting married on October 26th and my second son Logan, will be 2 on the 28th. So, that right there is enough motivation to keep me in check! Comments(2) 212318 Thursday, December 7, 2006 22:08:00 a glimmer of hope http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/211507/a-glimmer-of-hope well, last weekend was awesome! My birthday was on the 17th, and we had a lot of fun that weekend!

I ended up getting sick on Monday, and was not able to keep anything down or in. So from Sunday early evening until Monday night, with no being able to keep anything in or down, I lost almost 10 pounds! (now if it wasn't all that easy!!)

I keep fluctuating between 244 and 245 pounds, which is where I was at my six week check up after I had my daughter. Which I am trying to avoid the scales going up.....and unfortunately that seems to be the only direction they want to go! But instead of getting discouraged.....it is only making me even stronger!

I signed up for a lady to come out to the apartment to teach me healthier eating habits and stuff like that. She comes out this coming Wednesday and we are going to make Shepard's Pie....which should be interesting because I have never made it, let alone tried/eaten it before!

So, I changed my way of thinking....instead of trying to kill myself to lose ten pounds a month, I am just going to take them five pounds at a time, and if it takes me a month to lose it, then it takes me a month to lose it! I am just not going to put a deadline on it. I think in doing that it just made things more chaotic for me.....and it made me a slave to the scale which I never thought I would be! (and honestly, I didn't like it....it drove me nuts!) Comments(2) 211507 Thursday, December 7, 2006 22:06:02 ups and downs....again http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/207620/ups-and-downsagain ugh! I am so tired of these ups and downs, but I know that they come with the territory.

I am eating a lot better then I was three weeks ago, but I keep seeing the yo-yo reflection on the scale. I finally get down and see the scale going in the right direction, and then TOM comes along and the scale goes the opposite way!

I am trying my best, and I have already passed on the option of quiting! I have come this far so far, that I am not going to let it end. I am changing the way I am eating, drinking more water, and exercising more. So, I am extremely pleased with all that.
Comments(0) 207620 Thursday, December 7, 2006 23:04:00 on the roller coaster again http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/204537/on-the-roller-coaster-again man, I really need to get off this roller coaster ride!! I personally don't care for roller coaster rides at the amusement parks, so I definitely don't care for this one!

I am in major need of a new scale and to figure out the proper way to measure myself. I used my husband's regular tape measure and got some answers. Then I just had my husband help me measure myself with a normal tape measure, and I got really different answers.

My husband has a lifetime membership to a local gym and so he has been measured before. So, I have a major question as to the proper way to measure oneself. Do you pull the tape as tight and then read the measurement? Or do you just make it so that the tape measure meets and then call it a reading? (any help/answers would be greatly appreciated)

As for the scale, well it went up, and now it is coming down. My mini-goal is to get around 200 pounds by the end of October. We have a friend getting married and I want to weigh less then I do now. I only have 39 pounds to go and I know I can do it!! I have been working out every day since Wednesday. I am in a couple different challenges on a couple different websites, so I know that will give me enough motivation to keep my butt on track!
Comments(1) 204537 Friday, December 8, 2006 00:04:02 I need to get my booty shaking http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/201073/i-need-to-get-my-booty-shaking I am really in need of a swift kick in the pants!!

we went back to Ohio this past weekend and we had a BBQ both days we were down there, and boy am I regretting it now! I really need to get my booty shaking and get my head out of my butt!

I have noticed a trend that I have that I really need to break. And that trend is that I can be doing so well, and seeing some awesome progress and then I fall off the wagon only to basically beat myself up for doing it. I know that I shouldn't beat myself up over it since every one has their off days, but I am trying to get rid of this extra weight and it is just bugging me to no end!

My biggest thing is that I really need to get back into walking every night after we eat dinner like we used to do! It hasn't helped that we have been crazy busy around here or it has rained so that has put a cabash on things.

But from today on.....NO MORE EXCUSES! I really need to get back into the swing of things again. I am going to also start keeping a food journal again! I used to do it but then got pregnant with my second child and so I stopped, and then I never got back on the wagon, so I really want to get back into since we are done having kids! Comments(0) 201073 Wednesday, December 6, 2006 22:04:01 great weekend! http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/onmywayagain511/comments/198194/great-weekend we had a great weekend! we went to Ohio for a weekend away, and since we went there, it was the kids first trip out of state!

they enjoyed themselves as well! I got home and took a shower. When I got out of the shower, I jumped on the scale to see what my number was. I was expecting a gain to show up on the scale. BUT, to my surprise there was a loss! Another 9 pounds down from the last time I weighed myself!

As of today, I am 100 pounds away from my goal, and by goodness I am going to get there!!!!

Comments(0) 198194 Wednesday, December 6, 2006 23:06:02
