Not much to say...
Today is Friday and it is hot and humid here in Maryland. I ran errands this morning - took Zack to the groomer - went to the bank - went to the orthopedic doc and picked up Celebrex and came home and had a slice of PIZZA! Not beating myself up abou the slice of pizza because I did do more walking today than usual.
My PCD is considering putting me on Phentermine. We'll decide on 8/7 if she wants to go that route. She is the type of doctor who does not like pills or shots to lose weight generally but I told her that I need the Phentermine to back me up and help me stay on Plan as far as not bingeing. If anybody who reads this is taking Phentermine, I'd love to get your input on the Phentermine or if you are any medicine that is helping you, please let me know.
Have a great weekend Bloggers.
Hugs,
~J

Hi, Jonquility!
I love your name, incidentally.
It is hot and humid and MISERABLE here, too. Yesterday morning I didn't wlak, so I waited until almost sundown (8:30) and went out for 1/2 an hour. This morning I didn't get to walk either before it got too blasted hot, so again at 8:30 tonight you'll see me walking with the flashlight in one hand just in case. Sorry, I don't even remember what my point was!
I have even MADE pizza. I just count it into my calories and eat a big salad. I also eat no more than 2 pieces fo my homemade pizza, which comes to about teh size of 1 piece of "New York Style" pizza. I try to avoid the commercial pizzas (Papa Johns, PIzza Hut, etc.) just because they seem so greasy and I hate to t hink how many calories they have. For now, there are no trips to my FAVORITE local pizza place that is an import from NY. Their pizza has to have a billion calories per slice. I bet 450 easy. Anyway, I agree don't knock yourself around about the pizza. Count the calories and keep on going. I mean, can you honestly say you will NEVER eat another piece of pizza? I know I couldn't. I can say I need to learn to eat it in a healthy portion and in a healthy way. Heck, that was even true about cereal for me! (I've got the cereal thing down now!)
Off hand I can think of 2 blogs one is called Love, Jen I think she is on phen and the other is AZTeacher, she just ordered phen. But if you follow their comments you can probably find some others on it.

Just a thought....
Why don't you see how you do after a month before trying medication? I just think that if you take a medication to lose the wt. what will happen when you stop? It is so hard and Iam really struggling but I want to learn to do this for life and I quess my thinking is you can't take a diet pill forever!
Love and do your best, its better than not trying at all,
Molly

not much to say
Hey sistah,
I am currently taking phen and it works. I still feel a little hungry in between meal but not nearly as hungry as I was before starting it. I may need to have my dose increased or up my calories a bit, because currently I am consuming between 1200-1500 calories a day. Oh and I forgot to mention it gives me a boost of well needed energy!!! I hope this helps and if you have anymore question feel free to contact me...GOOD LUCK!!! :)
