The Weekend's Here

The weekend is the most dangerous time for me when it comes to eating right.  I have a husband who considers me his "eating buddy" and on weekends we would splurge together with anything we desire... calories and fat be damned!  In the past when I tried to lose weight he has been a big catalyst in my going off plan.  Now, I'm not saying he is the sole cause of my repeated failures at dieting BUT he sure isn't a help.  Weekends have always been a time for piggin' out with family and friends, shopping and cleaning the house.  Well one good thing out of three ain't bad. 

So, I hope that this weekend finds me resolved to stay on plan, stay active and keep hubby's interest in something other than food. <hehehe>  I hope that all who read this enjoy the weekend as well and finds it easy to stay on their Plan.

My husband

isn't all that much of a help either.  I finally had to try to giveit up and realize he has his own issues and what he puts in hsi muth is not for me to feel guilty about.  Seriously warped, but if he wanted a Starbucks caramel frappucino I would feel guilty for not wanting one.  Or rather for really wanting on but having the willpower and wherewithall to not have one!  I have found that for me it helsp to come up with a plan ahead fo time.  If we are going out what I will eat when there, or not eat.

Unfortunately, I think all diet soda tastes like crude and find it easier to just stay away fro them altogether.  crystal LIght does help me get in  alot of mhy liquids.  My brother likes Diet Doctor Pepper Berrie and Cream.  I have not persoanlly tried it, but let me know if you do! 

Remember sodium (in excess) can lead to edema (an hypertension).
