What's The Plan?
I have been asked what Plan I will be following to diet and lose. I have been on every diet imaginable trust me. One major problem I have is that I get bored and lazy when it comes to following (counting grams, carbs, proteins, etc) a organized Plan of weight loss. So what I am going to do is practice portion control by eating more of the good foods and less sweets and carbs. Oh yes, I am a bread addict. Now if I could only be as addicted to veggies and fruits. I'll work on it :) Hopefully Weight Watchers desserts will satisfy my sweet tooth now and then.
I am happy to say that I have been eating really well since I started blogging on the fourth. I can't say I've lost anything because I will weigh in just once a week.
A blanket THANK YOU to everyone that has offered me support. I am so glad I found this outlet.

OMG I love bread !
I refuse to cut out any thing I like. Just like you said portions really are the issue. In our society we don't have a clue. Iam learning about size when I look at the portions of a pre-pared , planned diet food like JC or Lean cuizine. I also measure the size of meats or proteins by the size of my palm no measuring. Its important to have a small amount of whatever you like or you will sabatoge yourself. I also have tried DIETS and the only one that really worked for me, was cutting everything and I do mean everything in 1/2/! I did that one on my own, and I lost with W W but I don't like fruits or vegs either and Having to eat them wasn't tolerable. Iam just learning to eat salads.. usually 1/2 hr. before dinner to help with the small portions ( and the fiber issue!)lol
So all that said to hope it encourages you to do what your doing and be patient. I had 2 weeks already where I lost nothing but the third week I lost 5 lbs. Iam very proud of you for weighing in only once a week..... this is about our health and that includes our mental health!
Have a great night and god ( she ) bless,
Molly

Hi and welcome
For many years i refused to give any money to any more diet plans ( and ive done a few). I did have my own plan that i drew up acording to how many calories i needed but found that i just couldnt stick with it without the accountability aspect. Now im on Jenny Craig because its fits my lifestyle and really helps me see how much food i should REALLY be eating, and I know i have to go explain myself to my counselor every week :P
Being on this site and blogging and sharing has really been awesome because i know if i really dont stick to my personal plan that im gonna have to explain it here. I hope you have a really positive experience here its been truly supportive, encouraging and fun ^_^
OH and to address an earlier issue, have you thought about trying the YMCA(YWCA)..i know some of them have water aerobics..also ive been looking into these T-Tapp workouts online that are excellent if movement is restricted for any reason..hope i helped :)
