Life Changes......

Hello all! I realize that it's been awhile since I've posted....well I was in a car accident on Sunday 4/15/07 and my body is still trying to recover. I'm thankful to be alive and breathing but this has changed my life. I'm looking at life now through new eyes....and praying that God will continue to push me in the direction He would have me to go. Right now is a trying time b/c I'm unable to excercise but the good thing is that I'm still losing. When I went to the doctor last week I weighed in at 299. something!!!! That freaked me out! The doctor then starts to talk about how I can run the risk of diabetes and heart problems etc.....I'm so thankful for the conversation we had....b/c it gave me the extra push I needed to eat healthy and make better choices. I don't want diabetes, heart problems or high blood pressure to be my existence for the rest  of my days on this earth. I want to enjoy this life that God has given me! So today, I'm thankful for the events and people who have been put in my path to change my life and open my spiritual eyes for what's to come! I know if God can do it for me He surely can do it for all of you! So as of today I'm down to 290lb!!!

ZUMBA!!!!!!

Ok ladies if you haven't found Zumba you are really missing and awesome workout! Last night I went and took this new class at my gym last night and it was AWESOME! It was a party workout! We danced and danced and danced! I usually don't sweat much no matter what type of workout I do, I'm just not a big sweater....but anyway, I sweat like crazy! It is a combo of latin dance salsa, meringue (sp), hula and belly dance! All I have to say if you want a GREAT workout....try Zumba.

I'm so excited.....

Ok so for some reason or another I'm on blood pressure meds....and I didn't realize I had been taking the same meds for 5 years now!!!! When I went to the dr. and they told me that I was floored. Anyway, long story short, we found out that all of this coughing I have been doing is a result of my BP meds!!!! I was furious to know that at 28 years old I was given the incorrect meds and its been in my system for 5 years now! But, I know that God is a healer and He will fix this cough and get me off of this BP medicine if I hold up my end of the bargain by diet/excercise. My mom wants me to have the lap band surgery, but I'm convinced that I can do all things through Christ with some determination!!! So I'm sad to report through my being sick and just lazy I gain so I was 291 just last week.....but now I'm 288!!! And I haven't done any excercise but I have changed what I've been eating and drinking more water. Today, I'm going back to the gym and I'm so excited.....and I just can't hide it.......LALALALALALA!!!

That man is HOT!!! That's all I can say! I danced the pounds off last night!! LOL! I had a blast!  I'm bringing SEXYBACK!!! YEAH!

Thanks to all of the encouragement you all gave me.....I'm back on track.....with food and excercise. I've been eating right and I've been to the gym doing some new workouts. Right now instead of 1 hour all cardio, I'm doing 20 Min Cardio/20 Min weights/20 Cardio!!! I'm feeling the burn! I can't wait to see me when I drop these 20 pounds!! (Short goal by the end of April)  I'm on my way...... Oh yeah I'm back to 285.....I had gained and I was 290!! I still can't believe it, but thank God it's coming off!

Thank you ladies for all of your support and encouraging words! I love this site! You guys are the best! Well, today is the day!! I went to TWO, count them TWO grocery stores last night buying foods high in protein and other healthy snacks. I prepared the food to make my lunch and dinner bagged it and put it in the freezer so when I'm ready to cook it all it has to do is thaw!! I feel great! I'm hitting the gym tonight right after work. I can and will do this!!!!!! I have some thing to prove to ME!!! Thanks again ladies!

HELP!!! I'm in a HUGE Slump!

I feel horrible....i thought i could just pick back up and get back into my routine.....but this is the hardest thing too do right. I just need a push I guess maybe even a few! Someone, anyone please HELP!

So I fell off...

Ok, ok , so I fell of the horse and I gained some weight back.....but I'm back....I did 30 min on Monday of Advanced Taebo....and tonight I'll do the same. My parents have been through various health problems and I don't want to be next. So I'm praying for strength again to run on to the finish line.

WHOOPIE!!!!!

WHOOPIE!!! I lost more weight!!! I haven't worked out at all this week b/c I have some sort of cold/virus......but that loss makes me feel better already! Ready to get back to the gym!!!  (My future's so bright.....I gotta wear SHADES!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! 6 lbs and counting!
