Had a good week

Well, I have had a great week and have stayed on track.  I have had some cravings but have dodged them.  I also have not weighed and it isn't killing me as much as I thought.  The scale is still up in my closet, and not to come out till Monday, though, I am tempted.  I am also doing good on my water intake, but not well on exercising.  I guess that will be my goal next week. I just haven't felt motivated yet.  I know, i'm being a lazy bum.

My scale and my obsession

Okay....so I admit...when I am losing weight, I have an obsession with the scale...I weigh at least a few times a day...when I get up...after I go to the bathroom...after work...with clothes...without clothes....after a shower...the list goes on!!!  I am sure I am not alone...and I know that most people will tell you to weigh only once a week...so that is my goal for the week!!!  My sister in law and I have vowed not to weigh again until Monday...so the scale is up on a shelf in the closet.  I hope I don't crack and weigh before then.  I am hoping it makes me work extra hard this week.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and encouragement...we are all in this journey together!

 

First weekly JC weigh in

Well today was my first weigh in at JC since last Tues...according to the scale at the center, I am down 3.4 lbs.

As for sticking to the plan, I am doing well.  I just ate a JC brownie heated up with a little fat free cool whip on it.  It was soooooo good...but I can feel good, cuz its on the plan.  As for the rest of the week, I stuck to the plan, and drank water like it was going out of style...120-160 oz a day!!!  I may not be getting in quite enough exercise, but my bladder is getting a huge workout!!

Felling better already!!!

It has been 4 days now, eating right...and i'm already feeling better!!!  I can't believe that only 4 days of not stuffing my face with JUNK has already made a difference in how I feel...last night I REALLY kicked up my water intake and drank over 120 ounces of water...you really need water to FLUSH your body of all the toxins and fat...and I really can't drink it during the day at work...so I make up for it when I get home...I have been home almost an hour now and have already downed 40 ounces.  I just need to get into the "exercise mode" but I already feel like I am on track now.

My day today

I had a pretty good day today at work.  After work I went to Jenny Craig for my first appointment.  I am excited that I am finally working on what I know I have needed to work on for a long time.  They took my weight and measurments at the Center today...I didn't look at the mesurements....I figure I will wait a while till they measure me again...and focous more on my progress than dwell on how I feel about where I am right now After JC I bought a new scale...so I will be able to monitor my progress at home too.

My goals are to eat better, exercise and drink more water!!!  Guzzle Guzzle Guzzle....gotta go pee now!!!
