Oh yes, it is summer time in San Diego. Great weather. It feels so good to be outside.
My son has been visiting from Groton, CT. He is a Navy Submariner. I am so glad the weather has been good for his visit. He has been to the beach a lot.
I did my spring cleaning in anticipation of his visit. That felt so good. So now I have a really clean house. Plus I always like to take the time to purge closets and drawers. Made a couple runs to drop off stuff at Good Will.
Had some birthday celebrations at work and a an open house of a friend at work that bought their first house.
I haven't been logging in my food lately, but as I have been doing it since January, I know what I can eat. I have been stuck at 146 - 147, but I know it will just take time to lose more. I remember when I couln't break the 150 zone, so I know it will just take time. I am glad I am not gaining.
Went to a swap meet today, haven't been in awhile. I bought some glass bowls for cooking in the microwave. I heard glass is better to use that plastic in the microwave, so I bought more bowls.
Can you believe it is almost May! Time is flying.

I'm glad
your son is having a good visit. I wish I was at the beach....I went to Ocean Beach when I was there.
Sounds like you had a productive weekend. I love the feeling you get after youve cleaned you house. lol. I like to sit there for a minute and admire the cleanliness hehe. I cleaned this weekend too. I'm going out of town for a week, so i want it to be clean for when i get back haha.
I glad its amlost may :) My birthday is in may lol. i cant wait, im having a big bbq and inviting all my family and friends.
keep up the great work. youll get out of that 146-147 in no time :)
I'm so glad your son's had great weather for his visit. I've been doing Spring cleaning too. I did not wear gloves (DUHHH!!!) and have a tiny little sores all over my hands, but at least my place looks much better. I didn't get to my closets and drawers though, and my bedroom needs a lot of purging; other than that, I'm okay.
WOW! 140's at 5 foot 6 must look AWESOME on you! HIGH CHEERS! (I'm just trying to get outta the 190's!!!) I don't know what your goal is, but my idea of an ideal goal is right about where you are NOW!!!
Best wishes and have a wonderful week; you've earned something really nice for yourself (not necessarily food)!
I lived in Groton for 2 yrs. My ex was in the Navy stationed on the SSBN 616 USS Lafayette out of Holy Lock Scotland. It has long been decommissioned It was so cool to see Groton on your blog.
Thanks for your well wishes, my knee is doing better. I just have to take things slow. At least I'm not on crutches anymore!
