Rainy day

Woke up early to go to the swap meet and it was raining outside.  Bummer.  So we stayed home and my husband finally did our taxes and I finished the book I had been reading.  Jody Picoult's new one, A Change of Heart was great .  Couldn't put it down.

Went clothes shopping yesterday and go two pair of slack, some camis and that was it.  I hate it when you have money to spend but can't find anything you like. 

The weather cleared up and took my dogs are a two mile walk.  It smells so good after a rain.

Our middle daughter stopped by for dinner, I made chicken and pasta with salad.  We had a great visit.

All in all a great day.

Walking off the weight

It sounds like you had a great Sunday...even if you didn't get to the swap meet.  I love Jodi Picoult...I'll have to be sure and get her new one at the library. 

I'm envious of your walk after the rain...sweet!  I hope that when my knee heals I'll be able to walk a little.  I'm settling for the stationary bike for now.

Thanks for your post. I'm glad to be in the 100's and hope I STAY there! (Scale shows slightly UP; I know I shouldn't weigh in every day!)  I think if I get in a few walking sessions I can fix it.  I can't expect this trend to go on forever without working out.  Oh, well...have a great day!
