1st Weigh In
Well I just got home from my first weigh-in and 2nd B12 injection.
Lost 5lbs! I have nagging thoughts like "it was only water", "you could have lost more if you skipped MdDees", "you didn't excersize" etc. Stop! Any loss is loss regardless of quantity and it is the right direction.

New Morning
Well morning is here again and I'm about to head to my parttime job. Last night I was so exhausted and so discouraged that I went to bed early. I slept about 11hrs. I feel very refreshed today and have a better outlook. No more fast food seems to be the cure for what ails me at the moment. By the end of the day, I almost couldn't get my wedding ring off due to the swelling. Rings are back on though even if they are a little snug!
After work this afternoon, I may go do my first weekly weigh-in. I want to avoid the midweek crash after the B12 rush that happened last week and interrupted my graveyard working schedule.
I'm a llittle nervous about the weigh-in as I didn't start the phentermne 'til late last week and didn't start the serious food watching until Wednesday...so only a few days of progress to show at the weigh-in.

Negative Reinforcement
I have been off fast food all week since starting the phentermine. My husband wanted McDees this morning so I decided to get two egg mcmuffins since I was so hungry. Now, 7hrs later, I am so swollen and miserable. I'm shocked at how oblivious I was to this prior to last week. I'm guessing the salt content is the culprit.
I'm a little high on calories, about 1700, and I still have dinner to go.

Very Proud!
Due to a huge computer system change over, my company provided pizzas and a whole table of salty and sweet snacks for the workers. I never dipped into the table and while I had planned on bringing home an extra pizza for my husband, I forgot it,
I'm so happy that my main focus wasn't the free food. I simply ate my packed lunch and my bananas for my 2snacks.
Nothing monumental but an improvement for me.
Still taking the 1/2 dose phentermine 2x daily. The first weigh in will be sometime early next wk so we will see what's what.

Back to Work
I work graveyard so last night was my first opportunity to experience the new journey at work. My friend who told me about the phen pills works on the same shift too. We had a good time comparing notes.
I took my 2nd 1/2 dosage before work. I felt a little off, not quite jittery, but like a low electric vibe....not unpleasant, just different.
I feel like I did well in my lunch bag...my husband packs it usually. H e is so sweet! Over the 10hr shift I ate, 2 bananas, one small turkey/chz sandwich (no mayo), 4 lance cheese crackers, 4oz Muscle Milk (was really just to taste Sharon's stuff), a handful of peanuts in the shell and a juice box. Overall, I don't think that's a bad start. I'm hungry now so I'm planning on oatmeal and then off to my 2nd job.
Off to breakfast...

In the beginning...
I started this journey yesterday at New Image Weight Loss in my local town. After commenting on several co-workers that have lost some significant poundage recently, I found that they were using phentermine and B12 shots.
Well, two of us went there yesterday. The "nurses" gave us a B12 shot for extra energy. I was suspicious. That was before I was wide awake at 3a and got up and did some house cleaning! My new husband was duly impressed with my activities.
I also jumped on the treadmill today for the first time in months. We bought it in December and I might have used it 4 or 5 times.
Today, we go back to actually get the phentermine pills. The "doctor" is only there on Wednesdays. I'm sort of excited to see how I react to them after the positive results of the B12.
Off to get ready for work.
