Update

So I've been to the chiropractor 4 times for my neck. It's starting to improve. Thank goodness!  Turns out I have some trouble in my right hip as well. It's getting worked out also.

I'm heading home to San Diego to visit my family for a week starting tomorrow. Don't tell anyone, but I'm most excited to see my dogs! ;) Right now I'm in the process of avoiding packing.

Lately I've been looking for a dog to adopt. We're looking to get a one year old dog that doesn't shed. We're looking at standard poodles (that is what I grew up with). They are great dogs...so intelligent, mellow and loving.

I posted an ad on craigslist offering childcare (because Oregon is taking a lifetime to send me my new teaching license); I can't substitute until it comes. Someone responded to my ad--a couple with 4 children. They are looking for a full time nanny. They are a periodontist and an optomitrist. If it works out, this could be a great job for me!  Good things come to those who wait, right? We'll see.

That's about it for  now. I might not be on this week while I'm out of town. Hope you all have a great one!

wow

That would be an awesome job.  I've known people who nanny and they even get to go on fabulous vacations w/ the families.  (watching the kids of course, but there must be SOME time in there to sight see)  Glad the neck is getting better.

:)

Good luck with the job, the trip and the dog!

:-)

That would be an awesome job! :-) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Good luck with the neck and hip problems. I truly feel for you...it stinks!

Safe travels...

Safe travels and continued success on this journey.  Hopefully your license will be waiting for you upon your return (Murphy's Law).

Have a safe journey "home", and brace yourself for mad jumping dogs ready to lick you to death... theres NOTHING like going home to a dog that loves you lol hope you have a fab time with them.... oh and the family

The JOB sounds excellent... hope it's 4 angels they have and not 4 devils lol

oh and your neck can't forget your neck! glad its starting to make progress! fingercrossed your hip realignment helps your posture along with the adjustments to help your neck more!

:)
