When I went to the dr I got another month on phen. I'm glad! I'm doing my best to stick with it. This weekend will be hard because we are having a superbowl party...beer, chips,junk food...I'm going to TRY and stay eating only what I should. I haven't had a Dr. Pepper, chocolate, cookies, or regular ice cream since I started. (Not even a frozen chocolate chip cookies in the bathroom:P) Anyway...GO STEELERS!
We SHOULD be proud of ourselves. Especially those of us who have had this weight on us for years - this is hard and we're DOING it!
I know what you mean about it being encouraging to read what other people have done. And we're just real people living real lives - with jobs and families and things happening. Sometimes our lives are easy and sometimes things go wrong - and when things go wrong we tend to eat. So it's good to see that other folks are doing the same thing and succeeding.
By the way, I threw away my scale - the little ones don't weigh right anyway. I only weigh at the doctor's office and only once a week. My husband started to buy a scale a while back and I almost bit his nose off. NO WAY! Too depressing to get on there and try to see if there's a half-pound difference. Once a week is much better.
12 pounds in one month - keep working at it!
Thank you so much for your positive post. You are doing a great job your self! Today is a Super Bowl Party at my house and I just made a pan of brownies and my husband made magic cookie bars. I have been carrying around my Pittsburgh Steeler cup and it has been filled with water...I'll see how long that last. Keep up the great work!
