WELL its time to focus on me...

Hey everyone...well I'm only down to 88.8kg...have been yoyo-ing between 89kg and 90kg for a while as going through emotional/personal stuff...

Basically my boyfriend of just over 5 years and I broke up on the weekend...since then I have lost the 2kg I gained and I've been going hard at the gym with my trainer doing boxing etc which is helping me get all my anger out..

Long story short we wont be reconciling he doesnt seem to really care I dont think from his reaction and when I was moving my stuff home he didnt even try to stop me...

So as special as that makes me feel its time to focus on me now and getting this damn weight off!! I'm making contact with my friends I havent seen for a while and I'm going to go out and have fun because thats something I havent had for months!!!

I made it!!!

I'm in the 80's people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 89.4kg!!!

Can you tell I'm ecstatic??!?!?!?!? Even with eating more carbs than I should have this week (and cake) due to birthdays etc and having the worst week ever at work which caused me to veer off the program for a couple of naughty meals....I still managed to drop 2.1kg which has been my best week so far!!

I'm so thrilled.....my next milestone is 85kg!

Sorry I've been MIA!!!

Have been extremely busy and lots going on. I've since had my car repaired and its looking lovely again!! Had Mum's birthday on Wednesday so that was fun also and allowed myself a tiny piece of mudcake - and much to my amazement, I cant say I actually enjoyed it!!

Been going to the gym everyday with my sister and we have a personal trainer once a week which is AWESOME. Its so motivating to get your butt kicked lol the first week I had NEVER been so sore....I couldnt move...literally! But it all worked itself out and I have more little muscles starting to appear yay!

My goal is still to be 70-75kg by 1st June and I have no doubt that I will make it.

Despite a few hiccups (birthdays, outings etc) I am down 4.1kg in 4 weeks and I'm loving the shakes still!!! If I hadnt been interrupted I could have lost more but I'm happy with the way its all going. I'm losing a lot of cm's as well which is equally important to me!!

B - Hot Espresso Shake
S - Apple
L - Hot Chocolate
D - Leftover shepherds pie (without potato) & grilled veges

Other than that not much new to report. My official week 4 weigh-in is tomorrow so lets hope for the 80's!!! I said that in my last post and then everything happened to make that not happen! I havent gone overboard though so thats ok!

I saw my ex-workmate today (she quit about a month and a half ago) and she was like "WOW you've lost more weight!!" and Mum and my partner reckon its getting obvious now that the weight is coming off, especially my face and belly (yay haha)

I love people noticing!!!

Time for an update!

Well this is long overdue....have been extremely busy (as it seems everyone has been!!) so havent had much time to come on and blog.

I'm going great guns on the TF....we had our friends over this past weekend which meant I put some of what I lost back on. I'm almost certain that it was fluid retention from the high salt content cause it was like pizza, soft drinks, fish and chips....all the stuff I dont want to eat anymore!! I told them thats it no more....I'm not going to keep doing that every weekend that was the last time. Needless to say I didnt go overboard but I did have a little bit and for that I paid the price.

But here I am 4 days later and the scales have finally budged...lost the WHOLE amount that I had put back on so now I'm back at 91.4kg and ready to rock!

Its a great feeling knowing that I havent been this weight for years....I dont have anything else in sight except my goal right now!! I think about it and it just seems right around the corner....makes me want to squeal!!

I should write TF a big massive thankyou letter for changing my life! I'm finding weird and wonderful ways to cook things I never thought would be yummy...and my partner is being nothing but supportive and trying all my recipes with me. I gave him a 1-10 scale of does he like each recipe and would be have it again. That helps me cause I really want him to keep losing weight like he has been as well so I need to make this work for BOTH of us.

In other news, due to my Insurance Claim over the last accident I had where the lady reversed out of her parking space and hit my car, my insurance decided I wasnt at fault. YAY!!!!!!!!!! I already knew that hahahaha so anyway they are replacing the whole bumper on my car WHICH MEANS even where the first girl hit me and caused damage then didnt pay up...that will be going bye-bye also!! So I will have my nice little undamaged car back again and I am THRILLED!

Eye on the prize people!!!

Not much new to report....

Have been sticking at the TF thing really well! I'm still thoroughly enjoying it and not finding it difficult at all. Some say there is a 3 week "roadblock"...bring it on! I can conquer that.

Recently I mentioned my sister and I quit our current gym and are looking around elsewhere. Well we didnt like Curves. I found it a bit too "in your face" and not enough variety for my liking. Plus the one we went to nobody except the lady that interviewed us seemed very friendly so no to that one.

Next we tried Zest which was GREAT. Lots of machines...lots of friendly faces...great price...great locations...even during peak time after work yesterday there was still heaps to choose from to use and thats a big thing for us.

This morning we tried Fernwood which I also liked. Good group classes...female only...very fancy and friendly...thumbs up. Only downside is it wasnt peak time and there already wasnt a whole lot left to choose from, plus its more expensive.

So at this stage I think we are going with Zest otherwise we're just signing up for the same type of place that we go to now. So we'll be making a decision early this week but I think both of our minds are already made up.

Just completed a 1/2 hour ride and I'll be doing another 1 or 2 rides of the same length later. I've slipped up a bit on the exercise this week so I want to get back into the swing of things.

Hope everyone is doing well....keep up the great work!

Whoa!!!

Talk about a kickstart! I'm down 2.2kg since Saturday...its Wednesday today! My official weigh-in is Saturday so I could be in the 80's by then...

BRING IT ON!!

Easiest diet ever!!!!

I am absolutely loving the Tony Ferguson diet! The shakes are delicious and I'm quickly narrowing down my favourites hehehe

Today I had an iced Cafe Latte shake for breakfast, and an iced Espresso for lunch. Didnt feel hungry throughout the day so didnt need to have my "extras" - vege soup and jelly. Dinner I'm thinking chicken or fish with salad and a small cup of the vege soup.

I've already lost 1.5kg in half a week so its been a nice push in the right direction again...I was getting a bit slack with my previous dieting attempt but I wasnt putting weight on. Just was getting a bit slack in some of the food choices and not exercising enough.

My sister and I have the Curves Appraisal tomorrow night so that should be great! And then Thursday night after work I'm going to the TF Wellness Centre to register there so I can swap the shakes I dont like for some that I do, without having to send backwards and forwards to the Eastern States head office.

So yes...thats all really nothing much new...yay for TF!!!

A good and a bad day!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food section of my day:

B - Strawberries and cream shake, 1/4 apple
L - chocolate shake, mug of light vegetable soup
D - 2 field mushrooms stuffed with spinach & ricotta. salad. cauliflower and broccoli mash
S - Diet Raspberry jelly

In other news when I went to buy my blender today I was reversing into a parking bay and some lady backed out of her parking spot and clipped my car's backend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know if her kids distracted her or what but I was right there and she just backed straight out, and I didnt have a chance to stop!

I think my freaking car is jinxed...so now thats more damage and this time I think I might just go through insurance because I dont want to end up being ripped off again. I dont think the lady seems to think it was her fault so thats GREAT.

The detox headache is beginning so I might just hang around on the couch tonight in the hope I wont get too grumpy hehehe 24 more hours and I'll be in a mild state of ketosis (where my body is using up its own fat stores to power me along)!!!

Hope you've all had a great day!

Day 1!!!!

Ok so as I write this post I am consuming my first TF (Tony Ferguson) shake for breakfast - strawberries and cream!!! Tastes just like a milkshake or Nesquik! Have taken my multivitamin and I'm on my way people!

I think to start with I will just do 15-30 minutes of exercise per day....like maybe alternate. My sister and I quit the gym we go to cause we can never use anything and its a waste of money, so we have a consultation at Curves on Wednesday after work which I'm looking forward to.

If anybody goes to Curves can you just clear something up for - do you really work out in a big circle looking at everyone else? haha just curious. Also someone told me you have to make appointments everytime you want to exercise...which sounds a tad weird to me....is that true?

I'm down half a shake and already I'm feeling full! I'm basically doing a lucky dip system...I mixed all the shakes up in the box and I'll just pick randomly. Of course if I get something I dont feel like I *may* do a redraw lol

Made myself some diet jelly and light vegetable soup last night cause I have unlimited use of them. If anyone wants the soup recipe let me know and I'll post it. I normally would be looking for ANYTHING to eat after a soup for dinner but surprisingly I was not hungry all night cause its got a lot of Low GI veges in it.

Anyway I'm off. Great to see you again Lynette!

Shaking things up!

AWESOME I got my shakes/soups for the Tony Ferguson diet today so I'm rearing to go!!!

Came home (after a visit to the fruit & veg shop) and made the "Light Vegetable Soup" which was absolutely DIVINE! So yummy...and I can have that unlimited so I'm thrilled!

Went to IGA last night and got all the other little goodies I can have....went through the cupboard and made "designated Tony Ferguson foods" shelves haha which my partner found quite amusing! I will miss some things I think...having said that I'll get over it!

No change on the scale this morning but thats ok I'm going well I think. Had Nando's (my last time!!!) today and didnt even have the chips so I'm proud of myself!!!

I'm really looking forward to whats next!!!!
