So I know I haven't been around in like forever! I reported my last phenomonal weigh in and now, I come to you weighing 8# more than last Saturday, but I have a great reason...
I AM GOING TO BE A MOMMY!!!
I found out last Monday that I am about 2 months pregnant. Hubby and I are very exicted, although this was not planned. We see it as a blessing of our love. I am due around the first week of April.
I have been advised by my doc to forego Turbo Jam, so I will take up Walk Away the Pounds to keep things in order. I am so nervous because I have been trying hard for 2 years to lose weight and as soon as I have a handle on it, I have to let it go and eat more. I know to eat the right things, but just eat more of them. I need clear cut guidelines!!! I know how much to eat to lose, but don't know how much to eat to be healthy and grow a baby! I have to admit, I did indulge last week which is why my weight jumped. I ate restaurant food like everyday, something that I had never done in the past. I had french fries for the first time in heavens knows how long!
Anyway, that is my news and I will check back for comments and make updates, but not that often. Seeing as this is a weightloss blog, andI am doing the exact opposite, I guess it would be counterintuitive.
Love yall and I'll check in later!

Congratulations!!!
I was cruising through blogs and saw yours. Congrats on the baby. You're photos are awesome!!! I get so inspired when I find someone close to my height and start weight and then see how great they look when they have lost a significant amount of weight. It motivates me to stay on track. Take care of that little blessing - eat healthy!
Congratulations! I'm so excited it's like i know you personally. ..... Wonderful news. Don't worry about the pregnancy weight, if you eat healthy and DON'T overeat, there shouldn't be any problem. With my DS2, i didn't gain more than 20lbs....really....the pineapple/orange cravings probably helped though.
Anyways, all the best and hope to hear from you sooner than April.
You will do fine. I am very happy for you lady! Just keep up the walking and the baby weight will come right off. 30 pounds is a good gain. That is baby, fluid, stuff, that is a quick lose.
I think with as much work as you have done, if you watch it and don't think of it as a license to eat, you will probably be right where you were when you got pregnant!
I am so happy to hear someone having a happy pregnancy!
Just remember how hard you worked to get healthy BEFORE the pregnancy, and remember that you want to STAY healthy for all three of you!
There are all sorts of nutritional sites for pregnancy, plus your Doctor should have nutritional counseling available.
I didn't gain anything much but baby with my pregnancies, but the weight on me was different afterward- how is it that you can weigh 5 pounds more and have 10 pounds of it in your stomach?
Be careful after pregnancy- that was my downfall- premature babies, stress, hospitals, stress, pediatricians with attitudes, stress, hormone swings, stress, time off of work, stress, dealing with family, stress, and in-laws (MAJOR STRESS)! That was my weight gaining trigger! STRESS!
PLEASE keep blogging and post pictures when your sweet one arrives!
