Day 5 of my liquid diet

Well, I have made it to day 5 of my liquid diet. Only 9 more to go til surgery then a week post-op where I drink the shakes but can also have sugar free jello and popsicles and stuff like that. So that will be a change from all liquid! I did go buy diet sweet tea since it was sugar free and 0 calorie 0 fat. I also bought 0 calorie 0 fat flavored water for a change so I get some different tastes in my mouth. But all in all everything is going well. At the end of today my 5 day calorie intake will be 1595. Not to shabby!I only drank one shake again today. But I drank water and diet iced tea. I took the kids to the bonfire festivities tonight and there was a lot of food and stuff but it did not bother me much! I know there will be bumps in this road but I know that I can do this! I know that I will lose the weight that I want to. I have faith in myself. But more importantly, I have faith in God who will help me through it!

long time no post

I guess I gave up on posting here but I am back. I am in the process of getting lap band surgery. I go in 11 days for it! My heaviest weight ever was 284. Last year I was 274. In March of this year I was 270 I am currently 257.5 So, I am FINALLY goining in the right direction. I am in my 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I have to drink bariatric advantage mixed with fat free milk for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can also drink water, diet iced tea, and any other 0 calorie drinks. I could have gotten these control bars to eat up to 2 times a day but I chose not to. Monday I drank all 3 drinks. Tuesday and Wednesday I only drank 2 and today I only will have 1. So from Monday til today (Thursday) my total calorie intake has been.... 1330 that is what I usually take in in one day. lol But it is so worth it! I am losing weight and I know that I need to do this for my health! So I can and will do this! *update* just weighed myself this morning and now weigh 254.2 pounds woohoo keep it coming off.

Another day

I think I have been doing fairly well with the exception of eating 2 slices of pizza for dinner last night HOWEVER I had only eaten a handful of mini wheats cereal dry, a jello cup, and 2 pickled hot sausage sticks up until then. But then I went and worked it off anyway with Day #5 of Bob's Boot Camp. I am proud of myself for going 5 days straight even when my workout buddies are on vacation. I can and will do this. Today is my husbands company picnic and I am going to be good with what I eat! Yesterday I walked past a lot of stuff I would have liked to eat BUT I had will power finally and walkd away! My chest and arms are sore from last night's workout but that's ok. At least my legs are not as sore as they were when I started. Tonight will be workout day #6. :-)  Go me!!!

keep on keepin' on

Last night was Day #3 working out. I am feeling better about it! My legs are killing me but not as much as Day #2. I am really trying to eat healthier! This morning I had organic vanilla yogurt (it was not very good) even with the blueberries and strawberries I added to it! But I ate it anyway. That was todays breakfast! Lunch is going to be a sandwich and fruit. And Dinner is going to be grilled chicken salads. So I am on the right path. I just need to keep it up! I can and I will do this, this time!
Well I ate a bit of different things than planned but all is ok! I went and did my day #4 workout of Bob's Boot Camp. My legs do not hurt as much BUT my ABS do. I did not even know I had ABS under all of my flubber! So I know this is working and I am going to stick to it! I can and will do this! Go Me!

Bob's Boot camp kicked my butt last night. But I am so ready to go get it done again tonight! My brother, sister in law and I worked out to Bob's Boot Camp then went for a walk/run/jog and I have not ran for a long time. But I am determined to lose weight. I can and will do it! Today I ate a ham & turkey and cheese sandwich on potato bread and 3 strawberries and 45 oz of water

Started today off by getting the kids and I ready for Church. I fed the kids before we went but I ate when I got home. I had cinnamon streusel mini wheats cereal with 1% milk on it 370 calories and 4 g fat TOTAL and 8.9 oz of water!

Starting my journey here

Well, I am going to attempt to start blogging about my weightloss. I am ready to lose now. I have been trying to cut back on what I eat and only eat one meal a day however today's one meal was a BUST. We had the breakfast buffet at Eat N Park.
 I had a scrambled egg with mushrooms & cheese, a slice of toast, a biscuit with sausage gravy, a slice of bacon, 2 strawberries, some cornbeef hash, & part of a banana nut muffin, a vanilla pepsi. however as soon as I finished the last bite I was in the restroom. I have IBS since having my gallblader out and so everything I ate has come back out! I just ate 1 fudge ring cookie. I had 20oz iced tea with lemon and now 8.9 oz of water with crystal lite in it! So today I ATE WAY TOO MUCH! So I decided to figure out my calorie intake and fat in grams.
 
100 cal. & 8 gram fat for the scrambled egg by itself
29 cal & 1g fat for mushrooms
69 cal & 6g fat cheese sauce
Total for eggs...198cal & 15g fat

113 cal & 1g fat toast
51 cal & 0g fat jelly
33 cal &4g fat butter
Total for toast....197 cal & 5g fat

64 cal & 0g fat biscuit
115cal & 6g fat sausage gravy
Total for biscuit.... 179 cal and 6g fat

34 cal & 3g fat for bacon

213 cal & 16g fat cornbeef hash

98 cal & 3g fat banana nut muffin

100 cal & og fat Pepsi

4 cal & 0g fat for strawberries

100 cal & 0g fat iced tea

30 cal & 3g fat cookie

10 cal & 0g fat crystal lite

sooooo 1163 calories and 51g fat today YIKES! Yep definately not eating dinner!
I have to be better tomorrow!
 
I am going to try to keep track of what I eat and when I exercise and what I drink and weigh in once a week. At my heaviest I was 284  :eek3:
I would love to get to 130 but will settle with 145! That is my goal weight! I can and will do it!
 I did end up eating chicken quesadillas *ugh* I did not even figure out how many calories they were. I just know I am over the amount I want to stay at daily
