Before After

Praise the Lord!!!

I hit 140.6 today!!!!  I am so pumped!!!!  I am going to try and add exercise this week to my days.  Let us hope I can make time for me.  My tables come in for the downstairs family room today.  I am helping ds1 order class rings tonight at his school.  Dd has Girl Scouts.  Ds2 has option fair tomorrow night for next years classes.  I will go there after ds1's basketball game, of course it is not at the same high school.  I will try and make the time though.  See you later chickies!

Super Bowl

Yesterday, I did pretty good, my smoothie, oatmeal, for lunch I had Subway roasted chicken with baked lays, came home and had fruit from a fruit tray I bought.  We had barbeque and I had a thigh and wing, I took the skin off, had a small rib and about thre small slices of brisket, about a serving spoon of Bush beans, an small piece of chocolate cake and cup and half of coffee.  I will let you know what my weigh in is today.  Chat with you later today.

Update, Woo hoo, I dropped a pound.  I don't know if it will stay off, but it was down for now.  I am excited.  I am close to my 140 vision.  Can I do it?  I really don't know.

Confessions

Well, it looks like I am inching up.  Agh!!!  I want to stay well under 147,so now is the time to set course for a loss.  Monday after my WW meeting, I was pondering why I am eating frivolously.  I have been wanting a hamburger.  Soooooo, that very day, I went and got a number one meal at Whataburger.  I came home and adding cheese, yes regular cheddar cheese.  I ate the burger and fries and water, then I had a piece of pumpkin pie with ff whipped cream.  It was delicious, I went into my WPA points by 16.  I was not hungry for dinner at all.  Yesterday, I stayed within my point allowance and will do so the rest of the week.  I wrote it all down and now I am confessing to it.  I am hoping for a loss this week, but I don't know if I can resist Super Bowl food.  I will have to wait and see what Sunday will bring and how strong I am.  Can I do it?  Can I resist?  Am I strong enough, or am I weak?  We will find out.  I may not show up for my meeting if I am too weak.  So the daily saga continues....

Update,  I learned how to upload a picture!!!

Thursday

This week, I went up .8 of a lb.  Not bad, and I am not sweating it, okay, maybe just a little bit.  I do think I want to be 140.  When I got married, I weighed 137.  That was almost 22 years ago.  Some people say that we are supposed to weigh that little.  I will be 49 this April.  That is so unbelieveable.  How did the years get by so fast.  I remember going to college, just like it was yesterday and now my oldest is a sophomore in high school.  That is amazing to me, how time just flies.  My WW goal weight is 147, they say that is a good weight, but I think being a bit less is better.  It is so cold here today.  Oh well, I guess that is enough rambling for today.  I will try and check up on you all.  Have a great day and stay cozy!

Monday

I did great this past week.  I lost 2.4 and now feel like I have quite a bit of wiggle room.  Yea!!!  I wonder if I can lose to 140.  Hmmm.  You know Girl Scout cookies are just around the corner.  My dd is selling boxes, and I know I will partake in some.  Last year, we bought 20 boxes!!!  I did have a few.  I need to make time to exercise.  Even if it is to walk a bit.  Well I am hungry so I am going to have my smoothie.  Have a wonderful day!!!

First meeting of the year

Today, when I weighed in, it was at 144.4.  Under my goal weight of 147, so I am happy.  I am wondering if I should go for 140.  Or just stay where I am.  Hmmm, well, as I ponder that I will put the sheets in the laundry, and have some lunch.  I am still under the weather.  I was supposed to volunteer, but I am still runned down from the broncitis.  I will take care of myself and get on the mend.  Take care of yourselves.  I am praying for you.

A belated Happy New Years

I have been under the weather.  On New Year's eve, everything was great, but as I ran my errands, my health went downhill.  By the evening I was so exhausted, my chest was heavy and I just felt awful.  I even called my doctor.  Tried to go to an Urgent care center and they were closed on New Years day.  I just laid around and did nothing.  Yesterday, I went into the doctor and I got a breathing treatment, which helped tremendously, and some antibiotics.  I still am weak, but I can breathe a bit better.  I have not been too hungry, so that has helped lower my weight gain from Christmas.  I weighed today at 145.7, which at the worse it went to 150.  I am drinking water, soup, hot tea, orange juice, trying to get back on track.  I have been spraying the house with disinfectant, so no on else gets this.  The dr. said it was broncitis.  Yuck.  I have read that you all are doing great with the new year.  I am so proud of you.  My computer seems to be acting up or it is the extrapounds.  I will try again to comment on your blogs, those comments really help me stay focused.  Happy New Year and stay well!!!

Greetings

We hope you  all have been well this year.  Christmas is a great time to keep in touch.

DH started a new job in March.  He still enjoys volunteering at the annual AirSho at Ellington Field, especially now that Ds1 is helping him out.  They make quite the fuel team.

I occasionally sub for the preschool, averaging thee days a month.  I split my time volunteering at three schools.  I took up quilting and finished a t-shirt quilt for ds1, using some of his elementary and middle school t-shirts (two quilts to go).  I am taxi-ing the kids to and from activities.  On October 9, I celebrated one year lifetime member in Weight Watchers.

Ds1 just turned 16, has passed his driving test and will get his official license over Christmas break.  He has had no time to get it before that time.  He is playing basketball on the sophomore team.  They won first place in a sophomore tournament in the district.  He participates in the service group called Interct.  He is an altar server at church.  He has basketball training twice a month .  He is working one day a week at Kumon.  He enjoyed volunteering at the AirSho, at church for summer classes, and at the R.O.P.E.S. course in the district.

Ds2 is 13.  He finished playing football.  He performed in the annual Lip Sync show with Theatre Arts.  He played a lawyer in the last school play.  He has participated in the Debate team.  He hopes to make the school's Science Olympiad team.  He is an altar server in our church.  In the summer, he was able to volunteer at our church as a teacher helper.  He also spent a week at the University of Texas football camp.  He and his friends go a taste of the dorm life, which they seem to enjoy quite a bit.

Dd is 10.  She made one of the Destination Imagination teams for her school.  She participated in the R.O.P.E.S. course with her class and her team.  It is a team building experience with low and high elements, which are all challenge by choice.  She enjoys tumbling at Cypress Academy.  She is a Girl Scout and has joined an awesome troop.  She was able to experience Girl Scout camp at Casa Mare this summer and is talking about going again this coming summer.  She is also an altar server.  She is learning to crochet.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Guess what?

I lost 3.2 lbs this week.  I am in good shape for this weekend and my sand tarts.  I just need to stay on track this week, which will be hard, since I will be baking all week.  Agh!!  Did some shopping today.  My car needs to go into the shop.  The house is being painted.  The dining room needs to be decorated after I sort all the wrappings in there.  Ds1 has a game at four, don't know if he will play as he was injured on Friday.  Someone kneed him in the tailbone, ouch.  Dd has Girl Scout meeting.  We still need some shopping to be done.  And we have to go to my folks this weekend.  I cannot wait till things settle down.  Ds2 has a slow week, thankfully.  Well I am please, I have to eat before I go to the elementary library to volunteer.  See you, sorry I have not had time to comment anyone, but I am reading and praying for each of you!!!

Tuesday

I was happy with my weight last night.  Today is the last day of my Bible Study.  I will start something else next semester.  Today ds1 has a game, send good game vibes for a win.  I am hoping to lose more weight before Christmas for my Sand tarts.  yummy!!!  You all have a great day!!!
