What a busy week. Went to ds1's orientation andt got books, locker, pics, yearbook, etc, helped register at ds2's high school, and Friday watched ds1's high school have a midnight pep rally and scrimmage, then went to ds2's scrimmage on Sat, went to his school and went through orientation, getting books, locker, pics, yearbook etc. Had dh's bday on Tues, went to Chuy's after 9 for dinner, had to wait for ds2 to get out of practice. We all had a great time. Dd made dh a cake, german chocolate, his favorite. Needless to say, eating has not been clean this week. Agh!!! I have been doing 10 girl push ups a night. I am starting slow. Tomorrow is weigh in and I don't know if I want to weigh in. I know it will be up from last week. The kids have one more week before school starts. My dryer went out yesterday, which was purchased in 1986. I have a new one coming on Tues. It is supposed to be more energy efficient than my old one. It was a great dryer for so many years. The salesmen were surprised it had lasted so long. I will be sad to see it go away. Buying appliances is never fun, just necessary.

I dropped 1.4 this week. It might not be a true weight, as it was about an hour later than regular WI time, but I am taking it!!!!! Yea!!!! Tomorrow is hubby's bday. I don't know what to get him, but I better think of something soon. He will be 48 yrs. Well, see you later Good luck with your foods!!
And what a week it has been. Ds2 started football practice on Monday. I was at the dentist with Ds and they took dd since on Tues, they put us under possible "Hurricane" watch. Everyone was closing down and Tues, so the dentist squeezed her in. As we were finishing up, the trainer at the high school called me and said ds2 had gotten over-heated and he was cooling him down. I asked what he needed me to do. Do I go to the school, or hang tight? He said if they couldn't get his temp down, they would be calling EMS. EMS???!!!, he's that overheated? I will be right there! Of course, I had every red light, He called me again, they couldn't get him cooled fast enough and have called EMS!!! I can see the EMS passing as I am at yet another red light! I get there and he seems a bit loopy. I talk to him sternly and he seems to pay more attention. They gave him fluids intraveneously. By the time he got to the hospital he is on his second bag of 500. Before he can leave the hospital, they want him to have a bag of 1000. What an afternoon. He now knows to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. And eat properly. He is doing a much better job of it all. The rest of the week was better at practice, he went back on Wed., luckily everyone was off on Tues due to the tropical storm.
I have been drinking the green drink Dr. Oz recommended on Oprah. It is not bad. It is fresh. I am hoping for a loss, but the hardest thing is the afternoons and evenings. I just want to consume mass quantities of junk. I found some mint cookies in the freezer and ate about 8 of them. Now they are gone and out of the house. I just hope this stops, maybe once the schedule gets busier, I won't be at home so much with the food calling my name. Yesterday was pretty good, as I was at both high schools volunteering and helping ds1 get school books, pictures, schedule, yearbook, supplementary reading books, and locker. We both helped earlier volunteer for the students with A-L, he is M-Z, so then it was his turn. He joined a couple of clubs. I had the check book handy and was writing checks left and right.

here we go. I gained .4, I know that is not alot, but I am within .2 of my goal weight and I like to be at least 5 lbs under goal. July was a fat month, gaining about 5 lbs. Now is the time to take it off. So far today I have had grapes, a bar worth 2 pts., and my WW smoothie. I had to buy a sandwich for my son for football practice. So...I biked. It was about 1.8 miles to and from. Yea me!!! I was going to drive, but I want to move more. Let's see if I can drop a lb this week. Good luck to you all too.
I need to set some type of goals for August. July was not a good month for me. I ate more than I should, but now I have got to get moving. And I have to eat correct portions. I would like to get back down at least 7 lbs. That seems so hard to do. Why am I so hungry? I don't like that feeling. I have to get back to reality. Plus, I need to exercise. It is so hard though. DH and I went last week to eat Mexican food at a restaurant we used to frequest, El Gallo. It was fabulous, but fatty. It was so good, but I know that cannot be a habit. Why do social events center around food? Well, I am going to weigh in on Monday. It will probably be a gain from last week. I will try and go to the rec for some cardio. I am hoping to lose the 7 by the end of this month.
I have had my WW smoothie made with water, I made myself a sort of omelet, with eggbeaters, fresh spinach, canned mushrooms, and ff cheese, cooked in 2 tsp of olive oil. That is 5 points spent, 15 left. My hope is to stay on program today and the rest of the week. I will keep this updated.
I did it. I lost .2 of a pound. Today I had a brisket sandwich with fritos. It was very good and very filling. Tomorrow, it is back to on program. No cheat. I think I am done with the cheats. It was a great move. I was satisfied. That doesn't happen often these days. My goal it to get to 145 by this next week. What do you think, do you think I can do that? Send prayers.
I am now gaining weight. And I want it to stop. This is ridiculous. I keep adding a pound. I am going to have to really track and see where I am easing up. I know I am messing up some way. I have had fresh spinach, with tomatoes and mushrooms with my egg beaters. Could extra veggies be the culprit? I don't think so. I had a lite sandwich with two point less evil chips. I had a smart ones and salad for dinner plus a dessert from WW. I had fruit, could this make the difference? Man, it is so disturbing. I am going to be really tight with food for the next few days. Hopefully, this will help me lose. I will try and get down to 140 by the end of the month. I don't know if this is doable, that is 6 lbs, by next week, no I need to be more realistic. Maybe down two by next weigh in. Please send me losing vibes. I can use all available vibes. Good luck to you all.
To weigh in that is. I skipped last week, because I didn't want to face the scale. I know I will be up today, but maybe that will get my rear in gear. I have got to get back down. I can see the trend of inching up. I don't want to do that. I will get back here with an update, so I can stay honet with myself.Good luck to you all.
Update... So I knew there was going to be a gain, but 2.2. Ack! Now to get back on plan, I have had a Smart Portions muffin, 1 point, a banana, 1 pt. and a bottle water. Now I am going to make my lunch. So far two pts, I will try and stay at 20 pts today. Keep me in your prayers, I have just wanted to eat lately, please help me with my will power.
July has been a bad month as far as eating. July 4 I ate what I wanted. and have cheated off and on this week. I did not WI this past week. I am going on Monday, no matter what. Today we went to see the Journey to ...Earth 3D. Good movie, and popcorn, later a bit of chocolate cake and 2 cups of coffee with creamer. I did paint ds2's room the last three days and that was quite a chore. Next ds1's room, but I may wait a week or so. I think I am going to lower my goal weight, maybe that will make me more diligent. Well I am off to bed, I think the extra coffe did not settle right in my tummy.
