Starting back today!

It has been forever since I have been on this blog.  I am needing to come back and face reality.  When you live to eat, you gain weight.  I must get back to eating to live, not living to eat.  I will weigh myself in a little while and post it.  I want to lose at least 10 lbs.  Clothes are getting snug to tight.  I am filling out and eating whatever.  I must focus on my health.  My oldest graduates this year, so I want to be able to be fit and healthy for the schedule I will have to keep up with.
Okay. so I weighed myself and I weigh 159.4.  So about 10 lbs would be a reasonable goal.  I will work it off lb,to lb.  Today I have had a
cup of instant cappacinno
banana
white rice
gumbo
cup of hot tea.
I want to go to see Sherlock Holmes today, but I don't know if that will happen.  We will see. 

It's unofficial but...

I weighed in at 154.6 this morning.  I am trying so hard to get back to 147 or lower.  I hope I can do it.  I just need to be good about the amount I eat. Today we will celebrate my hubby's 49th bday at his dad's house.  That means cake, which I will have a small, yes, very small piece of cake.  I am trying to do more fluids.  Maybe that will take up room in my tummy and none for food.  I am not talking about the meals that are necessary, but the emotional eating food.  I hope I am down tomorrow.

Wah!!

Today I was up .2  Must have been the extras.  I know I have the WPA's but I still wish I was down.  Today has been good, but I don't want to go for my walk.  I haven't gone.  I need to get my rear in gear and go, Maybe I will go after dinner.

And I am down....

Just a few ounces, but I am down!!!  It is going in the right direction.  I did well yesterday and was hoping for more, but I will take what I can.  Today, I will take ds2 to SAC, come back, walk, shower and change.  About 1, I will need to take the boys for a consultation for their wisdom teeth.  To see if they need them out.  I hope it is easy, mine were, my hubby's weren't.  Speaking of hubby, we over slept today and he is just leaving at 7:16 in the am.  Good thing I woke about 6:51.  He was ready in a hurry.  Again, I will note everything that goes in my mouth.  See you soon.

I walked about 2.5 miles.  Took the boys to the oral surgeon, both need wisdom teeth out.  Yikes, now to find a good day.

then I went crazy, had some queso, with chips, then a flour tortilla instead of corn and some more beans and guacamole and jalapenos.  I don't think I did so bad, but I shouldn't have done that.  hopefully the jalapenos were able to speed up my metabolism.

Back home

Back from vacation and unfortunately back up on the scales.  I am having my WW smoothie, for 2 points, then I will go for my walk.  I need to lose about11 pounds now.  I am going to write everything down that I put in my mouth.  I am going to be good at journaling.  I will update today, throughout the day.

Post Holiday Work to do

Here it is after the fourth.  I am back up a bit, but I did have fun.  I ate brisket, potato salad, frito scoops, a small brownie, and a piece of cake.  Now I had brisket and potato salad two meals.  When I come back from my walk I will weigh myself and let you know the damage.  Hopefully, not too bad to come back from.  I know today I won't go to weigh in, but maybe sometime this week.  I think I can do it!!!  Next week hubby and I go away for a few days.which should be fun.
 
Now yesterday I walked 5066 steps and today 4850.  My hips and gluts have been sore, so I feel that is working.  I had my shake before I weighed, but I am going to be really good now.  That is 3 points so far.  Now I am going to have my Fiber One with soy milk and fruit which will be 4 more points.  That is 7 so far.  I need to drink water.  Be back later.
 
Okay, back again, I had a roast beef sandwich with Nature's Own Double the fiber and Laughing cow spread.  I also had cantaloupe and grapes.  A total of 5 points, so , so far 12 points used and 9 to go.  I will take dd to Kumon for her class work, then we will head to the library.  Then to the grocery store and home for dinner.  I will probably have a Lean Cuisine or a WW dinner to keep it under, I am hoping for a pound loss tomorrw.  We will see.

Okay, yesterday I walked about 47 minutes and 5143 steps.  I weigh 155.4 today.  Wahhhhhh!!!!  I know it was dinner.  For lunch I had a Whataburger grilled chicken salad with olive oil.  For dinner we went to Alicia's a mexican food place.  I did partake in the chips and queso.  :oC  Not a good thing.  I ordered the chicken fajita salad, good, and didn't finish it all, but I think the chips and queso did me in.  Other than that, when I wanted a snack, I reached for fruit.
 
Today is the fourth, and we have brisket, potato salad, beans on the venue.  Plus, lots of desserts.  I am definitely walking today, before it all starts.  I will go in the next hour.

catch up.  Okay, yesterday, we went to the movies.  We got the large popcorn, without extra grease.  It was really "buttery" to begin with and I ate a bunch, getting woozy feeling, not good.  I had a smoothie, then the popcorn, I picked at some fruit, like cherries, strawberries and cantaloupe.  I had a small piece of chicken, some veggies, and salad with oil.  I had angel food cake with strawberries and two spoons of ff cool whip.  I ended the day with my last glass of soymilk.  I am not sure of the points b/c of the popcorn.
 
Today, I am trying to talk myself into taking my walk.Tomorrow will be a bad day, since we are having a brisket made.  Along with all the fixings, plus desserts, that will be a hard day.  I am weighing 154 today, which from the first weigh in this week, I am down quite a few, but not as low as I wanted to be.  I feel, that I will be starting all over again next week.  I have to go for my walk, but I really don't want to.  I am going to eat breakfast, then possibly it will get me motivated.

Catch up time

Yesterday, I was at 156.4 and today an even 154.  I am taking the kids to the movies today, so how do I resist the popcorn?  I am off for my walk this morning, I did 30 min. approx. yesterday and 3770  steps.  I am going to put my shoes on and walk it.  Chat with you soon.
 
Back from my walk.  It was about 40 min. and 4525 steps.  This route seems to be longer than yesterday's, or my pedometer is not accurate.  I may stick with this route to get more steps in.  Now off to my shower.
 
Yesterday was a busy day.  I had the usual Fiber one, milk and grapes for breakfast, smoothie, then sandwich.  We took off for College Station to pick up ds1 from camp.  Afterwards we stop at Texas Roadhouse, very dangerous for the nutrition.  I bypassed all the rolls, pat myself on the back.  I did have a few peanuts, just a few.  Ordered the barbecue grilled chicken with bbq sauce on the side, steamed veggies and sweet potato, with marshmallows and sauce on side.  It was so good.  I came home wanted a fudge bar, but didn't get it.  Yea!!!
 
Today I have had 2 cups of water.

Okay, today I was down 1.4 lbs.  Let's see if I can drop some more by tomorrow.  I am 156.2 today.  I will write everything again today.  I think that is the key thing, otherwise I partake in too much food and not enough exercise.  I am going to wake ds2 for SAC.  I will come home and eat then walk.  I ended up with over 6000 steps and I didn't wear my pedometer on the way to the pool.  Hopefully,
I can do a great job today too.

Okay I am back and walked about 30 minutes for 4300 steps.  Yea!  I am on my second glass of water since I came back, that will make 30 ounces so far.    At 10 I pick up ds2 from SAC.  Dd is still asleep.  It is 9:34 here in the morning.
