Thanksgiving

Okay, well, we went into San Antonio on Wed.  We went to a restaurant called Alamo Cafe, our favorite in SA.  They have the best queso and flour tortillas.  I had lots of queso and tortillas.  Plus the chips.  I did order a chicken fajita salad and could not finish the chicken, but did finish the greens.  Thurs. I had a normal size lunch for turkey, but then we went to see a movie and ate lots of popcorn.  I did stop, eventually, which usually, I cannot stop eating popcorn.  We went back to the folks house and ate some sweets and came back to Houston area.  We went to dh's family's house.  I had a small saucer of salad, sweet potatoes, rice.  Then I had a piece of pecan pie.  Now I am back on track.  I woke up weighing 149.2.  I need to get it down before Monday WI.  I will drink lots of water and stay within my points.  Maybe I will catch a walk or two between now and then.  I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It is a hard season to be in now.  The feasting season.  Be strong and please keep me in your prayers, that I may have strength against foolish eating.  I have to remember I eat to live, not live to eat.

Its hard to remember eat to live not live to eat.  So many temptation, so much food.  Holidays comes once a year. I am trying to eat what I want but low portions.  Like I went to a buffet the other day and filled my plate up and only ate 1/4 left the rest. took bites of everything, went for 2nds and 3rds and also bite here and there.  Noticed I got to try all the foods i wanted to try and got it out of my system. without harming my weight. cause I ate such a small portion.  I bet the server was mad at me for leaving so much food on the plate. ooops... It's made me not overeat which is good and helping me loose the few pounds i still need to loose.
