Slow, but steady.
At work today, a co-worker asked me if I was losing weight!

At work today, a co-worker asked me if I was losing weight!
I have lost 2 1/2 pounds this week for a 3 week total of 12 pounds.
I have to make an appointment for next week with my doctor for a check up and to get a phentermine refill. I hope to be at 190 by then.
So far, I have lost 10 pounds! I noticed yesterday that I don't have to suck my gut in to get my size 16 pants zipped! Hmm...I have a pair of size 14 pants in my closet that I have never worn. Maybe I will fit into them by July 4th! That would be my own personal independance day from food!
I've lost 2 pounds this week and 9.5 pounds total. I didn't take the Phentermine on Sunday because of the problems with my mouth, but I haven't had any more trouble since I used the extra strength Anbesol. I stopped getting that energy boost after the fourth or fifth day. Overall, I'd say things are going pretty well. I don't have the urge to pull into every fast food restaurant I see! It's been nice to feel in control.
The tip of my tongue has been sore since my third day on Phentermine, but now the inside of my lips are rreally swollen. I'm starting to look like my 8th grade history teacher! I bought extra strength Oragel yesterday. It hurt when I applied it, but after a couple minutes I was numb. It gradually wore off after about an hour. That didn't stop me from eating a steak and boiled shrimp for dinner last night. I got on the scale this morning to see what damage I had done and I actually lost another 1/2 pound!
I've lost a total of 7.5 lbs. this week...not too shabby! I've lost the weight I gained on the cruise in April. I actually wore my "regular" work pants yesterday, not my "fat pants".
I know my weight loss will slow down, but this has been exciting!
I weighed 198 this morning! My son #3, Tony, his wife, Cristina, and her sister , Angie, went to the Cheesecake Factory last night, which is the ultimate no-no when your on a diet. I ordered the "Bang Bang Chicken & Shrimp". It's Thai and it's spicy....mmm! When it arrived I immediately cut the platter of food down the middle and only ate the food on the right side. I took the rest home to son #2, Greg, who couldn't join us. I didn't do so well when it came to dessert, although I did share a slice with son #3. Where is son #1, Tim, you ask? He's in Baghdad.
My grandbaby is a girl! We are all sooo happy! Especially me...after three sons and a grandson, I'm ready for a girl!
Oh, I lost another pound, too. Now I'm at 199! In Nutri System lingo, this is called "Onederland."
This is so exiting! It is like waking up on Christmas morning every morning! I can't wait to get on the scales to see what Santa left me...or in this case TOOK from me!
Today (and every Thursday) we have "the truck". Today we have four pallets of freight to unpack and put away. It will take all day. That should be good for a pound or two! I have to leave early to pickup my daughter-in-law...the beautiful mother of my future grandchild...for her ultrasound.
I checked out the Posh Tots web page that popped up next to my blog. It's incredible! I wish I could win the lotto!
Today went really well. I took my Phentremine at 4:30 a.m. and waited a half hour to eat breakfast. I wanted to gazelle this morning, but my legs were killing me from yesterday. By the time I got to work, I was WIDE awake!
I felt great all day. I did Nutrisystem for all three meals today and I drank all my water like a good girl. I had trouble sleeping last night. I hope I don't have a problem tonight. I have to get up at 4:00 a.m. and be at work at 6:00 a.m.
I find out tomorrow if grandbaby #2 is going to be a boy or girl. I'm hoping for a girl since I have three sons and a (long distance) grandson, but I'm sure we will all be happy with whatever we get. I get to go in for the ultrasound. I'm so excited and happy that it's not me!!!
