A Bit of Investigating

So I checked out the features of this site, and realized that I won't be using much with the exception of the blog and the weight tracker. It's ok though, it's free, and I'm sure that the support from the site will be well worth it. I've already set myself up with my own tracking system from home, and the diet log on here seems too complicated (I'm from the 'smaller portions' school, so I'm not worried as much about counting calories).

The best thing for me to do will be to log activities within the blog itself, and to be as active as possible within this community. I'm sure that with the right support, I'll be able to reach my goals!

Great attitude!  You can reach your goals and hopefully me too...
I agree about the fitness and food logs or trackers.
The info I put in just goes off into oblivion in the fitness thing. But oh well, I just do it to be proud of myself.
Welcome!!

Hi Skippy!

That's all I really use it for.  I have entered my measurements but that's not as big of a concern for me as my weight.  I used to use the Nutrisystem online food diary until they changed it, but now I just use my little food planner book, which helps me remember to eat everything I'm supposed to.

I also like the friends list, so I can keep track of people I want to remember to check on.  You can find that in the section called "My Community".  It took me awhile to find it!  I was so proud of myself when I did, lol!

Here's to reaching your goals!

Welcome

Welcome to EP.  I only use the weight tracker and blog section.  And, you're right, it's free.  What beats free?  Um, um, nothing.  So, good luck on your journey.  I'm sure you'll find the support you're looking for here.  I love EP!  (I sound like a cheerleader, huh?  Well, back in the day......)
