Good Day
Today was good as far as the diet and exercise, even though I had lasagna & broccoli for dinner. My wife is an RD, so of course, everything is made with skim this and that (thankfully!). I only drank one can of diet soda, which is a huge change from the 5 or 6 cans that I would drink a day. I also ran 1.9 miles, which was a touch lower today, but I believe that when I get back to working out in the morning, I'll be able to run more. My wife and I are running in a 5K on Sunday, and I'm hoping to run it in under 30 minutes. Wish me luck!

A Bit of Investigating
So I checked out the features of this site, and realized that I won't be using much with the exception of the blog and the weight tracker. It's ok though, it's free, and I'm sure that the support from the site will be well worth it. I've already set myself up with my own tracking system from home, and the diet log on here seems too complicated (I'm from the 'smaller portions' school, so I'm not worried as much about counting calories).
The best thing for me to do will be to log activities within the blog itself, and to be as active as possible within this community. I'm sure that with the right support, I'll be able to reach my goals!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Well, I've found it. The ability to blog about losing weight without having to go through all of the trouble learning how to code Blogger. Not to mention, I believe that this will be a great support group for those looking to lose weight. First off, I'm a married man looking to lose about 42 pounds, but I will be more excited if I can change the pounds to muscle (aka dropping my body fat % to something reasonable). Currently, my BF% is at 30%, which isn't good, but I lead a relatively active lifestyle - my diet is what needs work, and I can stand to exercise a bit more.
Anyway, I hope to learn more about everyone that is looking to achieve similar goals.
