Gained 2.5lbs. 

 

I can't believe it. 

 

I've barely eaten a thing since Monday as the whole right side of my mouth is absolute agony.  I'm joining the gym this weekend. No more excuses.  I obviously need to exercise to lose weight, as the diet lark is not working on it's own.

Write Off

This week, up until today is a total write off.  I sneaky peeked this morning and looks like i've gained 3.5lbs!!!  I have tonight and tomorrow to lose 4lbs.  I don't see that happening, so I will accept my gain on Friday and try much much harder next week.

 

I'm starting a new core/points hybrid as of tonight.  I need the portion control of points with the healthy eating of core, so I'm going to eat mostly core foods and point them.  I can't really call this my own as I've stolen the idea from Emma (thanks hun) as it's working really well for her and I'm hoping to steal some of that glory for myself!

 

Since I have new hair, I really need a new body to go with it, so I am most definitely joining the gym on Friday, no more excuses!!

 

I spent 3 hours in the dental hospital this morning waiting to have rogue wisdom tooth looked at.  It's possibly impacted, but the gum is so swollen she couldn't tell, so I need to go see a normal dentist next week for an xray.  Need to register for one first!!  My mouth is so sore it took me nearly an hour to eat a sandwich, and that's all i've had today (it was out of greggs though, pointed it at 12 to be on the safe side)  Probably won't be in the mood for much except sleep when I get in since I got less than an hours kip last night, hopefully be able to get a nap at my desk between 7pm & 8pm since it's always dead at that time!

 

I was slightly disgruntled last night to spot my beautiful next dress in Look magazine, the same dress that some loser on BB was wearing at the fake wedding!!  I've had this dress for months and haven't worn it yet as the weather hasn't been great, grr, now everyone's going to think I got it as it was in a stupid magazine!

I have a malfunctioning wisdom tooth which is causing me muchos distress and pain, if it's no better by tomorrow I am looking for an emergency dentist to yank it out.

 

Havent been eating that much due to the pain which is probably a good thing, but knowing my luck I'll end up with a gain on Friday!!

 

 

I also got about 7 inches of my hair lopped off today, let me know what you all think!

STS AGAIN!! Grr!

 

Quite annoyed, but at least it's not a gain! I will have a loss next week, I'm so determined now.  Going to visit the homeland tonight straight after work, and she's got a dog, so I will be out walking the farm tracks with her. Hopefully the mothership won't sabotage me!!

Thursday

And it's the eve of weigh in again.  Where does the time go!  I sneaky peeked again this morning and I'm going to sts again this week dammit!  Really wanted to lose, I would be over the moon with half a pound, lets hope today is a good food day.  James (my boss) is here from London town so he will be keeping me busy all day, hopefully there will be no biscuits at the meeting.  The HGDU is doing an event and won't be home till after 9 I don't think, so that means I can have rabbit food for tea without any complaints out of him. 

 

My freezer died last night, new one is being delivered tomorrow, so annoyed it couldn't hold out for another few days! Had to throw out everything that was in it.  that's at least £50 in the bin. Grr!

Sneaky Peek

So I had another look this morning and I'm still the same weight.  Really don't think I'll have a loss by Friday, but a girl can always hope! I am most def joining the gym on pay day, even if one of the bills doesnt get paid. At the moment toning up and losing weight is more important to me than paying stupid bills!  I will be walking home tonight with the HGDU, and having a lovely core friendly meal. I really need to stay on track forever now but I don't really like fruit that much and finding it really hard not to snack when bored.

I think I might be getting a kidney infection *sob* haven't had one in over a year but back is really sore (above my left hip) and i've had weird pee for a week now. Have upped my water intake to 3.5litres a day to try and flush it out, but if it's not better by Monday I better go to the docs. Hate my doc, she's a moo!

Monday

*yaaaaaawns* It's Monday again.  Why does the weekend go in so quickly and the working week seems to last foooooreeeeveeer.  I had a nice weekend relaxing and watching a full series of desperate housewives online whilst drinking gin & eating popcorn! I was very well behaved on Friday & Saturday, but I wen't a little of the wagon last night.  The HGDU went to the shop for smokes and returned with a packet of sugary jelly goodness, a yorkie & an orange creme for me.  I ate them all.  I have definitely used all of my 21pts, so this week I will have to be very careful with meals and make sure 100% of my food is core friendly since the sizzling for summer challenge has begun and I really don't want to gain or sts on the first week!

The lovely HGDU brought me my breakfast in bed this morning which I thought was lovely, he even brought me some fresh OJ & a cup of tea to go with it..one...two...three...awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Might walk home from work today, weather permitting, although I have just realised I have about 6 pairs of stilletos under my desk, and no flat shoes, not too sure about walking 3 miles in a pair of platform stilletos...

WI Result

I slept in this morning, and I didnt have time for my usual wi ritual, which has bugged me slightly, but I STS, so at least it's not a gain.

 

On my journey to work this morning I had a hard think about what I've done wrong this week and I know exactly what the problem is...

 

I haven't been following the plan.  I ate tons of bread on wednesday & thursday, I had tons of cheese lastnight aswell, and I generally haven't stopped eating when I'm full.  So today I'm not going to have my usual day off the plan, and I am going to make a marked effort to only eat when hungry and stop eating when I'm full.  I don't know why I find this so hard!! Let's take last night for example.  Walked home from work, 3 miles, thats a positive! But on the way home HGDU wanted an icecream, so I had one too (a solero incase you were wondering) then we got home and HGDU was eating some of the lovely home made bread, so I had some too. Then I had some more, and then I had more with melted mozzarella on it.  I WASNT EVEN HUNGRY! Then my tea was ready, and I ate all of that too, even though I wasn't hungry.  The HGDU claimed he was starving and that is my main reason for putting the tea on in the first place, but I don't know why I didnt just make something for him, and I could have had something later if I had become hungry.  Wednesday night was a different story. I was incredibly tired when I got home from work, the HGDU was at his work, and I was home alone.  So I made some core chips.  While they were cooking I had some homemade bread, then some more, and then some more, and then I had 2 toasted crumpets.  WHY? Probably because I was bored.  I then ate my chips and shortly afterward had some popcorn.  I have a severe grazing problem.  It's unconcious, I don't even realise I'm doing it until it's already been done.

 

So as you can see, I was very lucky to have a STS this morning, and I have had a sort of revelation about my eating habits.  When I was reading the Paul McKenna book, he yaps on about emotional eating for ages n ages, and I didn't really buy into what he was saying as I was so sure I didnt emotionally eat, but I clearly do.  So I am going to go back to the book and read that chapter and maybe actually do the tapping exercise instead of skipping it.

 

So the 12 week challenge starts on Monday, and I am hoping to lose a stone.  That's 1.16lbs a week for 12 weeks, that would be a walk in the park for most ww'ers, however we all know I'm absolutely carp at losing weight, just look at my weight loss graph, it's pathetic! Hopefully I will be able to lose the 1.16lbs a week and anything above that would be a bonus.

 

Anyway, must dash, have fridges & shopping to purchase & bills to pay, it is pay day afterall, usually my most productive day of the month, LOL!

I might have a nice glass of red wine with my spag bol instead of garlic bread.

it's the eve of weigh in once again

and I had a total bread binge last night!  Sneaky peaked this morning and I might have gained a lb, so I am going to be extra strict today. Really don't want a gain tomorrow, or a sts!

 

Was really hoping to lose 2lbs this week, but I have been rather complacent with core.  It's the bad weather, It just makes me want carbs, carbs & more carbs.  The potato & pasta varieties just don't do it for me, it must be bread!!  No bread for me today though. Im having home made burgers for tea, and will have mine wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun.

I'm going to Pilates on Saturday morning at 10am and I'm so excited! I have always wanted to try Pilates, and have never gotten round to it.
